Hey I’m running an RTX 3080 with a 12700k processor, I currently play 1440p with a 240hz. Monitor.. do you have an clue what type of streaming pc or hardware on it I would need to run to stream at 1080p 60 or 1440p 60?

To stream at 1080p60fps, honestly this build does great. I usually stream around that output on Twitch, sometimes I use 720p60fps because Twitch's encoding is kinda weird compared to other platforms. As long as you have a Ryzen 5 1st or 2nd gen, you should be able to do great. If you are doing a fresh build, I would go with a Ryzen 5 2600 and use Intel's ARC A750. That should give you the oomph you need. It would probably only cost you about 700 dollars if you do the build with all new parts.

I am recommending the Ryzen 5 2600/ARC combo if you want to stream 1440p60fps. Most capture cards only do a max of 1080p60fps currently though. Some do 4k30fps, but it's a little wonky. I recommend no more than 1080p60fps for stability and if you mainly stream on Twitch.
