The one where you “cooked” sand is actually true; your oven was not powerful enough, as to make glass from sand it needs to be approximately 3090°F (1700°C) and is usually done in an extremely hot furnace. Fun fact: the temperature needed to melt sand into glass is the same temperature that a space shuttle is when it re-enters the earths atmosphere.

Sand can in fact be smelted in to glass. You just need to heat it at temperature of 1700°celsius (3090° Fahrenheit) which a average household oven/stove won't go anywhere near as high. Household ovens only can get up to 550°F (850°F if it has a self cleaning mode available) So myth is actually confirmed.

Water can kill you if you fall from really high up. It will act pretty much like concrete. One block in Minecraft is 1 meter. You underestimated the height and length of most of the myths involving blocks. Sand is actually made from glass. Putting it in the oven isn't how to make it. It literally needs to be melted. That boat you made looks flimsy and plastic. Maybe try wood planks?

wrong things: - u can take damage if u are very high. - 1 block high is actaully 1 meter - again 1 block of dirt is 1m3 of dirt - sand has to be VERY hot to turn to glass - a 4 block jump is a 4 meter jump - a minecraft boat is 1.3 meters long and is made out of wood - a 2 blocks jump is 2 meter which is taller than him - you can hold your breathe 1 minute in water
