Actually not the smokies in this one. That's pine mountain in ky. Where harlan and letcher counties meet. I live really close to this area. It is beautiful right now. Killed my sinuses though lol.

I know what you mean buddy I inherited a 1981 oldsmobile toronado from my uncle RON the same kind of car as the cadillac eldorado and buick riviera the same color as the you're buick regal my moms oldest brother knew I loved it so much he gave it to me one day now he gone my mom's gone my grandmother's gone just about everyone in my mom's family is gone I get emotional from time to time too......I'm holding on to that baby.......that's a beautiful regal.........

I wish I could have held onto one of the actual cars they had back in the day. Sadly they are all gone and I have no way to track them down if they did survive. I know dads regal didnt. But at the time you know it was like having a mid 00 malibu or something today. Not much value as a collector then. Thanks for the kind words.

I know what you mean, My ex father-in-law just passed down his 67 Ford Fairlane to me, He's still alive but in not so good health, He and my ex Mother-in-law brought it all the way to Texas from Mid Missouri, The ex wife and her husband were PISSED when they found out that he was giving to me, but her brother snapped off on her and told her that he understood why, Because I was going to be only one who would do the right thing and fix it up, IF he left to him or my ex they would have just sold, he works on a tow boat on the Mississippi and is gone for 2 weeks and is home for a week so he don't have time to fool with it and she doesn't care about anything other than money. Kenny bought brand new when he was in college, and they had their first date in that car plus alot of other memories in that car, I;m not a Ford guy but I've been after that car for the entire 30 years I've known them, besides my mother-in-law loves the hell out of me, she always says I'm her favorite son-in-law and she'll look at the ex's new husband dead in the eyes when she says it, Patty gives zero fu(ks what anybody thinks. I;m going to rebuild it as close to stock as I can get it except the wheels, I';m going to put some Baby Moons on it and i'll give it to my oldest grandson who's almost 12 when he's 16 for his first car.
