He can't insist on her to take shahada on the spot. He sounded like a salesman. He meant well I guess but that's not the way to discover God and truly accept Islam. Her husband is a careful man, he made sure she is not pressured to do anything out of convenience cause she seems very accepting and open up to other people's opinions and beliefs. All of you Muslims calling her husband names and lashing on him, you need to understand that if God wanted to guide them to Islam there is no force on earth will stop Him from doing so. Just be patient when you educate people about the religion and let them have all their answers and doubts vanish and once they're ready they're ready. It's not a target. You're just a mean to deliver a message.

I am a Muslim by birth. If I would have existed during the Prophets time it would have been a hard thing to accept Islam then as one has to sacrifice his ancestral practice to enter into a new faith.
