"I came not to bring peace, but a sword" - Jesus teaching and raising a dead girl

From the movie depiction of the gospels of Jesus Christ - I came not to bring peace but a sword. Jesus teaching that his gospel of repentance and Holiness and truth would cause great division among people and families. As some would recognize him as God incarnate and follow his teachings and others would reject him. Jesus is the prince of peace, and gives His peace to those who accept him and keep his commands, but in the world expect division, discord and persecution from those who reject Him.

I saw this series when it was on television in 1977. I was a young teenager. It moved me then. I grew older, went to college, had a successful career, a wife, a family. But I went my own way, and I drifted away from God. Praise Jesus Christ, he pursued me. I gave my heart to Christ in 1996. And nearly 30 years later, this film still moves me. Christ is real. As I type this in 2024, the world has grown very dark, and it is getting darker by the day, but the light of Christ shines brighter. I want to be with my Lord. Perhaps it will be soon. "The merciful will receive mercy." Love God and your neighbor. Pray that the devil's temptation to commit suicide will go away. You won't gain anything or forget anything by committing suicide. There is a book: "In sinu Jesu", in which the Lord Jesus told a monk: "There is no suffering that I cannot heal, and if I allow some souls to suffer for a long time without receiving a sign of My healing power, it is because that I am going to bring some greater good out of their suffering. You must believe in it and help others to believe in it, because it is true will bring hope and trust, even in the darkest hours".Do not give up and do not think about committing suicide, because you will not receive any reward for this terrible act against God. In my family I walk alone. My dad mocked me for my faith. My mum listened to my testimony but doesn't hear it. My brother is a worldly schemer. My daughters are championing the LGBT cause. I've lost a lot of people because i follow Jesus. I don't have any friends now except for Jesus, literally God is my only friend. All my friends left because i didn't support or participate in their sinful lifestyles. People I thought were family have become enemies but i refuse to turn away from Jesus. Your ideals/religion is completely different from what ideals and beliefs were 20 to 30 years ago but yet you try to understand the human ideals of 3000 to 10000 years ago. It's pointless, times are not the same, life, work, food and things are not the same 50 years ago then why would they be 1000s of years ago? The bible accepts the fact that slavery emotionally, physically and mentally existed with mankind and was an every day standard in ancient times. God did not command slavery but allowed it out of the hardness of ancient man's heart. God allows you to destroy yourself each and every day but should he take credit for that? I think not. Jesus performs Miracles every day. I was in a coma for 1wk. I came back then had to learn yo walk again. Just because you don't physically see him he works Miracles every day. Sometimes doctors have no explantion for things that happen on hospitals. It's a Miracle ppl say yes it is through Faith in Jesus Christ. Praise Jesus. Have Faith even when it seems impossible. If death comes pray harder that your loved one is in Heaven.
