We used to throw baby powder on the basement floor to get the cars to slide around . Mom would get mad as heck but she let us do it anyways . I can still picture my brother rolling the car with the wire attached . That’s how long ago. I had a cordless Ferrari from radio shack . Back then , info was scarce and it was top priority to keep them working and batteries got expensive . We did all kinds of things as kids . There was no internet or remote controls for the tv until the 80 s , hbo didn’t come on until til 3 pm , there was a gas problem for a while . I remember the 70 s as being tough . Dad was laid off from General Motors for a time and built some spectacular model ships to pass the time . They’re still here too

I enjoy Mark's enthusiasm with our hobbie of rc's. Truly enjoy his videos as well. To the untrained eye, Powersliding may look like drifting.it is not, it's sliding.Powersliding is a 4wheel drive experience, Drifting is a 2wheel drive, rear wheel style. Although there is both fun ,there's a difference in the way there driven.

I own many Rc's and I will say that the Arrma Infraction 3'S is hands down my favorite asphalt ripper 🙂 If you love the 6'S you will extremely love the 3'S !!!

Do the tires last longer on the 3s version? I have the 6s that’s on 8s. I don’t drive much because of using tires. We have 3 the vendettas. So I’m familiar but never used a 3s infraction.

I’m not gonna lie, if you run the 3’s infraction hard like I do, you’re going to get 4-5 solid runs before needing new tires. I drift mine constantly on asphalt from the time I press the start button, until the battery dies 🤣

I am a newbie to rc, and the infraction 3s is the first road car i bought and it is impressive. It goes fast and is very controllable yet i can get it sliding when I want it to. I personally run my off road cars much more but, if i had to pick one road car, i think i chose right. I got the dashboard app and it works well for speed runs and alot of other stats that as my knowledge grows, it will add to my experience. I have a blast running this car, and its a nice change from bashing for me. Cheers

For a long time i wanted one of these but i chose the Felony over it's looks and right now it's my #1 Favorite on road car that i currently own next to the XO-1 but one thing i can say is that platform handles way better than the XO-1 before Traxxas' so called update although i still love my XO-1 and am working to rebuild it. But overall i think the Infraction, Felony and Limitless is a better platform and buy then a XO-1 in my opinion as much as i love both of them i like how my Felony handles more than my XO-1 did.

Great truck! I rip mine on a concrete outdoor rink surface up here in Canada’s and it doesn’t eat the tires like asphalt! Got a 3s and 6s infraction. Both a treat

I find the e-brake is good for getting the rear end around in tighter spaces or when your already going fast and don't want to add power to get the rear end to step out.

I have one. Just don't install the speed gear if you are going to drive it non stop. I actually did some speed runs with the speed gear and even like that I blew the stock ESC. It's pretty weak. You have to be careful. I use cheaper aftermarket tires for mine.

Get yourself some Vipaz tires and you can go through 20 or so packs at least. I freakn love the Infraction. Also a good 4S pack is plenty of fun for drifting and easier on the tires/drive train.

Battery & charger info & tech seems boring & repetitive but a good charger is super important once you start getting lipo’s & people refer to You Tube a lot to learn so good info is important thanks for going over chargers & other basic equipment even if you are a avid RC lover it’s always a good reminder.

When I need to discharge my 3s packs, I connect them to a 12v to 110v pure sine wave inverter. Running a lamp, and air purifier will drain the lipo in 45 mins on average. Inverter cuts out at 11v, so a lipo alarm isn't needed.

I've powered my aquarium air pump and filter in power outages as well. My inverter is 2000w continuous/3000w peak, so batteries can be discharged quickly too 🙂

I had about the same conclusion when it came to the ebrake on my fireteam... Uhh dont need it, if i want the rear to get loose...Just blip the throttle a bit and the rear is out, no worries

Box stock infraction isn't the most reliable since heat issues on esc and receiver is hard to get on sometimes because transmitter has to be neutral (super annoying) but damn is it the funnest

If you’re not pushing to hard and do enough breaks for cooldown the v2 is pretty durable stock.

6:23 NOT TRUE. AVC has auto calibration now. Your dx6c and receiver should have the software already. Only the older Rx with the bind plug don’t support auto calibration. You’re lucky it didn’t fly off when you did that.

The receiver that comes in the infraction is the 6110at which does require calibration. The receiver that comes in with the dx6c is the sr515 that doesnt have avc. Also, when i calibrate AVC i put my esc into calibration mode so it cant run away.

U can’t judge the infraction off of being able to go off road. I have to judge it as an on road truck. Which obviously gets a 10/10. The infraction is a 10/10 all around. lol. Jst add personal touches.
