My 'Vault' Partner just posted The Dells "I Can Sing A Rainbow" (Love Is Blue) well I'm finna 'see' his version and 'raise' him with The Spinners "I Can Sing A Rainbow" (Love Is Blue)....we do this music like poker hands...it's fun. Thanks for the upload, Dustyologist. Blessings...#keeprockin

Love both versions of I Can Sing A Rainbow/Love Is Blue by the Dells in 1969 and the Spinners in 1970. On the Spinners version,G.C. Cameron did a great lead vocal and Pervis Jackson also did a great job on the spoken verses. But in my honest opinion,I still enjoy the Dells version the most. Marvin Junior did justice on his lead vocal and Chuck Barksdale also did an awesome job on the spoken verses. A great song that was done Chicago style courtesy of Chess Records and also Detroit style courtesy of Motown Records.

GC CAMERON did a great job singing LEAD on this song. He sounds like Marvin Junior the lead SINGER for the Dells. Too bad Berry Gordy didn't press to promote this song from the Spinners while they were on the Motown Record Label.
