Listen ladies I know being a truck drivers wife is hard. I live it every day and it's even harder when you have children. But if you love your trucker stand beside him no matter how hard it is. What has gotten me through is listening to gospel music and reading my bible. I know what I do is not for everyone but if that man didn't love you then he wouldn't be out there risking his life on that road to make sure your bills are paid and you have food on the table. Stand beside your man and be strong for him.

Our son was a single trucker. He didn't have time for a family. He always wanted one. He was on his way back home to Cheyenne. At Medicine Bow near the Fossil Cabin, he pulled over and died of a massive heart attack at 47 yo. He was so sick. He had the truck cleaned inside and out the day before. Coroner said it was the cleanest truck she had ever seen. That made me proud because he was proud of his asphalt home and office. Also made me realize that too many truckers die alone in their trucks. This momma will be prayin for y'all until my dying day. Roll on 18 wheelers, roll on.

Listen to your songs a lot. Some make me laugh, some make me miss my trucker even more, some bring tears, while others bring smiles but they are all great! Been a truckers wife for 23 years and he has been driving for 35. It is a hard life on both sides and takes two strong trusting people to survive it. I cannot imagine a driver calling home and being told this but know it happens and too often. I raised our kids and became a fix it all person while he earned a living and missed so much with them and me. I know he has it a lot harder OTR inside that truck with nothing but the radio and putting up with all that goes with the job. We spend a lot of time on the phone. I spend a lot of nights on the phone all night while he drives to keep him company. I love when he comes home and immediately start dreading leaving time. I never know if it will be the last time I get to hold him and tell him I love him when he climbs in that truck and drives away. It is a very hard and lonely life and even more so for me now that the kids are grown and gone. I look forward to the day he can walk through that door and tell me hung the keys up for the last time! Until then I will keep the home fires burning and wait for home time. Fully support your driver! It is not a life for whiners! Be willing to give your all and then some for your driver.

I never thought of screwing around with anyone but my wife! Anyway it’s really hard being gone for weeks or months at a time! And then to find out you don’t have anyone at home that even cares about you, only the lifestyle that you provide! Yall be safe out there and watch each others backs! And keep the rubber on the asphalt and that chrome polished! I’ll catch back up someday!!

God this songs hits so deep and can't imagine trucking back in my dad's time when you had to find a payphone just to make a call but even with cell phones nowadays and being able to video chat is just as bad in my opinion, you get to hear and see your love ones but not able to be with them is what hurts the most. I've been through countless girlfriends & a few wife's and I'm not even in my thirties but thankfully I've not had kids and put them through barely seeing them and being raised by there mom.

This brings back many memories of my lone days out on the big road as a owner op. Late night rides listening to a driver singing into the cb. Your voice is soothing.

You've given me so much inspiration as a truck driver. I went otr about a year ago and it was one of the scariest things I've ever done. I left my daughter and wife home to chase this dream and ur videos have kept me right during this time.

Oh this is one song that is so sad..I am a retired trucker & I can say one thing.I still miss my big truck, but I'll be settin right here waitin faithfully for my truck drivin hubby to retire & to come home.. as the sayin goes..takes a special breed to be a trucker but also takes a special breed to make a couple work in the profession..keep singin..loved it..

Even us home every day drivers live thru this. I work 3rd shift 13 hours a day. As soon as I get home I have to go to bed and the old lady works an opposite shift. My driving career has ruined alot, but I'm addicted to grabbing the gears, and seeing those white lines go by. It's all I know.

this song kinda hits me hard. ever since i was about 7 i always fired up my boat and hauled down to i-20 to see truckers honk well 20 years later still makes my day just to get a trucker on i-20 and so all you truckers out there i genuinely thank you for all you've done for this nation and for us. not a day goes by i dont look forward to seeing if i could get truckers to honk at the heart of i-20 to this day it brings thrills to me just to see truckers honk on i-20
