I created this video to show that it looks like that history is repeating itself with the Chicago Blackhawks. Connor Bedard has been on a similar career path as Patrick Kane since his NHL Draft season. Both Bedard and Kane won the Calder Trophy for their incredible NHL rookie seasons. And both of their playing styles are very similar. Hopefully Connor Bedard could lead the Chicago Blackhawks to became a dynasty like how Patrick Kane did.

Bedards wrist shot is harder than kanes slapshot

and Kane is +118 at 5v5 for his career (+130 healthy) and Bedard is -30. so I guess everyone's got their pluses and minuses. Bedard and his super amazing shot failed to out think or outskill James Reimer on a breakway Feb 25, while Kane both out thought and outskilled Mrazek for the winner. Also out thought Bedard, who knew less about what his own teammate Seth Jones was going to do than Kane did.
