I apologize ahead of time for the crazy beginning to this video , but some people shouldn't be allowed to handle wrenches honestly. I have never witnessed such a crazy thing in mechanics with my own eyes. #badmechanics #rearshoes #diy

Thanks for showing the orientation of the brake shoes when you originally took the drum off. It looked to me like someone was so used to doing automotive brakes that they did not bother to check any diagrams or use their head. No wonder the tractor had no brakes. Thank-you, Mr. Nelson for taking the time to explain every step in doing this job right! God Bless.

Hey I bet it will stop now. The way they had that setup in there was absolutely insane. It couldn't have stopped at all after the last brake job. Wearing those nitrile gloves for that kind of work is probably a good idea and I commend you for it but I just can't do it. I'm the guy who has a scar on every knuckle and hands that smell like fuel oil. Fuel filter in the 2520 this morning made things run a whole lot better. Have a good week Nelson. 👍🙂🚜 I just realized that there is no red tractor emoji. 🤷‍♂️

I couldn't believe they did all that work then didn't even have a way to engage them 🤦🤦🤦🤣🤣🤣 Well I must say Mr Will, I agree with you on the gloves!! But when the camera is running, I can rip a glove off and hit the stop button quick...without loads of grease 🤦🤦🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Praise the Lord you got the 2520 going again!! That is way to cold!!! Thank you Mr Will, hope you do as well!! I know, I have been complaining about the nonred emoji thing forever 🤣🤣🤣🤦I really appreciate you always being here!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍😁😁

Lol what the world. I saw that mess up as soon as you pulled the shoes off. Man o man it’s amazing those brakes worked at all. Were both sides like that? Oh and every time I ever tried to get the springs back on the first 2 or 3 tries the spring would shoot up about 10 feet in the air. Great video and nice catch on the rear spring retainers. Sorry for writing a book 🤣

Boy I tell ya, sometimes the hardest part of a job is figuring out what the first guy to get in there did wrong. I found that many many times in commercial HVAC service. You cannot assume the last guy did the repair correctly. I bet that tractor will stop on a dime now and give ya a nickle change !! Good job and yes, I saw buzzards circling yesterday and dad always said that meant 6 weeks to spring !!

Thank you Evan he is excited for sure, and honestly I am too!! Oh my the brakes!! The best I can figure is the brake rod/cam being behind the shoe ..it pushed out on it enough to drag a little.
