When I bought my T-600 in 2005, I started my day at 8am and ran until midnight with very few exceptions. An old timer told me one time, "If it don't get done between 8 and midnight, it don't need to get done." and I agree with him. Fudging logbooks, running illegal and tired is garbage and never made me any more money than running legal. But I bought a used truck and trailer so the payments weren't as big as a new truck would have been.

Dehydration can cause the symptoms you're describing at 17:48 ... lack of eating and not eating enuf sugary stuff can also help create the symptoms. You being exhausted doesn't help, either.

Former emerald triangle resident here- don't follow GPS behind the redwood curtain! Plenty of trucks get stuck on a dead end of switchbacks with no guardrail. My old place, Fed X drove up my dirt road driveway and would want to drive over my water well because they followed GPS. They did this with 3 drivers until the fourth was taken prisoner with a shogun and forced to call dispatch. Keep your locks locked and watch out for rippers, the 101 has plenty of pirates. Amazing to see what the pulp mill, Fairhaven Pulp has become and on a super low tide there is a shipwreck on that beach you were on. We used to pick funny mushrooms around the coast guard base... Fun times and carry chains!

Another great video Becca. I like it when your going through different terrains and all kinds of weather. That’s what trucking is all about. Never two days are the same. Sometimes it’s hard to get a couple of easy days in a row. Yup Northern Cali is much different than the southern part. You seem to be able to tackle anything that comes your way as far as loads and weather. The best thing for you was to go driving for Art. They seem to treat you well over there. You have done well since going there. Even have your own apartment so when you have had enough you can get out of the truck and put down the keys. I am so glad to see you succeeding at Art. Becca I envy you so much right now! My truck wouldn’t start this morning even though my APU ran most of the night,I had to get a mobile mechanic come help me.Now I’m in Calgary,Alberta & it’s -24F and the temperature is supposed to drop another 6 or 8 degrees yet tonight so my truck is gonna stay on all night.The dreaded California is looking pretty good right now,omg I’ve had enough of this Arctic crap.Anyways thanks for the video,that scenery made my night a little better,you and the boys stay safe,keep warm.

Whenever u make it back to Arkansas, run by Home Depot or Lowes and get u a leaf blower and keep it in ur side door compartment and keep the battery charger up front with you somewhere and after u get off loaded with like those stones u can blow off the little rocks and etc and not risk some falling or blowing off while going to next pickup. Using a blower is a lot quicker than using a broom. They should be pretty cheap bout now since its not grass cutting season right now.. And i watched in ur other video where u asked bout getting ur headache rack polished and they said $400...thats a little 2 much in my book.. if u ever get a load that comes below Atlanta on 75 theres 2 truck washes on exit 201.. theres the streaking Beacon and cant think of the other one but its in the back of parking lot at Pilot.. The city name of that exit is called Jackson GA...Both truck washes are on the North bound side of the interstate..

And theres a REALLY GOOD eating place on that same exit and it's on the south bound side of 75 and u can see it when u get off if ur going south..it's called Buckners Family Restaurant..Google it.. it's GOOD eating there..

Be careful of the areas with mountain passes in winter (November to May) such as Reno,NV and north of Sacramento, CA snow and ice occurs often and trucks get stopped and forced to put on snow chains. If you don’t have the chains they charge 1000 bucks for them. So, if you drive all of I-10 also up to Minnesota and east of this line in winter you will never have this problem. In summer those areas don’t have problems just stay fueled by stopping in Barstow after Las Vegas when traveling West on I-15 and if headed west from Phoenix,Az on I-10 stop in Blythe once you get in California. If you don’t fuel is going to be too hard to find. I wish you well, I learned the hard way in California. I had a load going from Vallejo, CA to Boise, ID and in the Reno Moutain pass on I-80 East coming out of California the trucks got stopped to put on snow chains and mine did not have any so I bought 480 dollars worth at a gas station and it wasn’t enough to cover all my axles. So, I stayed in hotel room to wait it out and it didn’t work.

Sure hard lesson, chaining up tough enough! Donner pass used to have pusher trucks by CF and ROADWAY specialized for moving stuck rigs. I grew up in the Sierras

I know this wont help for this situation as its probably long done by now but get one of the paw scrubbers for your pups! It looks like a big cup basically with scrubbers on the inside and you just fill it with water and shove your dogs paw in and it knocks the dirt and grime off! I use it for my pup when we go to the woods because he loves stomping around in the mud.

Hey Ms. BRB. Another great video about your journeys. Norcal is nice, and a world away from Socal. I guess that's why they say California is like it's own country. A lot of differences. I know you get a lot of comments and I'm not sure if you see them all, and I'm not trying to rag you but please sweep or clean that stuff off your trailer after you deliver. No one, us big trucks included, likes a broken windshield from the debris when you hit a bump on the "smooth" I-5. If you don't carry a broom, maybe the place where you deliver can loan you one. Some of the van or reefer guys carry a small 12V leaf blower. Just saying. Travel safe.

Nice video Becca I used to run up to Washington state back to Los Angeles most go to Everett WA Armey bases for few years tail the chain law comes up in winter time it is nice and beautiful up there some of the drivers who drink a lot's of soda or eating salty food their blood presser goes up and feel dizzy taking a magnesium pills 200 mg bring the blood presser down soda and salty food most making the blood presser goes up it is very important to eat healthy food Back on old days truck stops all of them had soup and salad buffet some drivers eat only once a day and some light food at night BIG breakfast steak breakfast at BIG truck stop in morning don't feel hungry all day

Wow girl. You made it to my hometown that's where I used to live in Ukiah California.. That's where I drove flatbed. First started pulling double Vans walking floors from the sawmills . Lumber with flatbed where do you go 150 Mi North is Eureka California that's where I used to all Lumber out of that can tell by the entrance of your picture that's where you're going through the woods men be careful on those corners. Try to get your straps tight away from the edge of the highway to the center the roads lean to your right. Be safe love Northern California. That truck stop in Ukiah is where I met my ex. Be safe love. If you got to get fuel you better get it there if you're going further north by this time you read this you already gone
