Really nice pickups! I lucked into a Wolverine collection ages ago that got me the Byrne run as well as 8, 24, and 27 for very cheap (maybe $40 for 30+ Wolverine comics?). I even got Jim Lee to sign my 24 and 27 copies at Baltimore this past year. I'm also always a sucker for the Year One comics, despite owning the set I always catch myself picking those issues up when I come across super clean or cheap copies - very underrated and undervalued IMO.

I was snagged by the 1990 issues of X-Men and Spiderman (Jim Lee and McFarlane stories, specifically). Good starting off points and amazing art. Exactly what I needed and I fell thru the rabbit hole to discover the back stories.
