Boston's debut album (Boston, released in 1976) had every track on it made airplay on all 3 Rock Station in Detroit. Sib Hashian is the drummer, sadly he passed away of a heart attack while playing drums in the middle of a set on a cruise ship on March 22, 2017. Brad Delp is the lead singer and he suffered from depression which sadly led him to take his life on March 9, 2007. R.I.P. Sib & Brad...

It is a perfect song. From an album of perfect songs. By a perfectionist. Boston’s debut album may be the greatest album ever produced. By a guy (Tom Scholz) and an incomparable vocalist (Brad Delp) in Tom’s BASEMENT. I sh*t you not. Listen to the whole album. You won’t believe it. We sure didn’t way back in 1976 - 49 years ago! If you want to find out more about the incredible story of Boston, PBS featured Tom Scholz in one of their “The Secret Life of Engineers” TV shows. Scholz is a genius - he created the “Rockman” and other electronic sound equipment. Great reaction! But do yourself a favor and listen to EVERY song on this legendary album. You will be amazed….

AndnPeace of Mind is a great acoustic led song, with a spot on life lesson...and it just gets better as each song advances. Foreplay Longtime is Bostons "Bohemian Rhapsody" or Stairway to Heaven or Hotel California. Side 2 has Rocknroll band - a fun, inspired by real events, story of their journey becoming a band of merit, smoking just rocks, something about you, the weakest in my opinion but still fire, then ends with a very unique acoustic Hitch a Ride, another awesome tune. Not one miss!

Maybe try the whole album. It's amazing. One guy in a basement tracked the whole thing, wrote most of the album and played a majority of the instruments and created a bunch of new tech in the process. 17x Plat in the US, Diamond in Canada. Not bad for a dude with vision in his basement.

@lifeasamovie Approximately one quarter of the tracks for this record were recorded in big name LA studios--all of Brads vocals sans one song were recorded or tracked at Capital Studios Studio C by Boylan and the entire song Let Me Take You Home Tonight which was written by Brad was recorded by the band as pictured on the back of the record at The Record Plant LA by Boylan/ You diminish Brads once in a generation voice and abundance of God given talent by not pointing out the fact that Brad sang ALL vocals on this record both lead and back up. Tom could not sing like that even in his wildest and wettest dreams. In addition what is this new tech that Tom created in the process? Scholz R and D was not founded until 1980 and the Rockman was not released until 1982 and not one note on this record was processed through a Rockman or any Rockman prototype. The so called hyperspace pedal which if the truth is told is merely an Echo Plex tape loop echo machine that Tom modified. In addition, the bucket brigade technology that Tom used to make his doubler had been around long before this record was made and Tom for damn sure did not invent it. In addition, Roland had a very good chorus effect for guitars on the market before this record was made and the Roland Chorus effect inspired and influenced just about every analog chorus effect that came afterward So what exact technology did Tom create in the process of recording this record??

Dude.. I remember buying this album when it came out way back when.. One of the best albums ever written IMHO.. Thanks for the memories.. Please can you do something new.. Well, Old school revised and done with a whole new flavour.. 5 Beautiful, elegant and extremely talented young ladies from Japan.. The Band is called Lovebites and they are out of this world. They are a heavy metal band and are called the white wolves of metal.. You will see why when you watch their live performances. Do a blind two/for of the songs A Frozen Serenade 2021 Live in Tokyo with lyrics and Epilogue Live from their Daughters of the Dawn concert in Tokyo 2019 with lyrics You say you like acoustic, well these two songs are a fusion of acoustic, piano, and full on metal.. Two of the best metal ballads I have heard in all my years of listening to metal music.. Do yourself a huge favour, you will thank me later.. Best wishes to you from France.. PS.. Beware.. The Wolfpack will invade your chanel... :)

It’s interesting to analyze your reactions and notice what impresses you. First, it’s EASY to see you’re not a singer. Second, the responses to the guitar are more appropriate for the vocals. Any half decent guitarist could learn to play this song spot on. But there is a tiny fraction of male singers who can do anything resembling this vocal performance.

This... on a badarse record player system... aint Nothing Better!!! Cannot make this better by "Digitizing" it!!!!!!!!!! Trust the stranger on the interwebs... an old hard rock guitarist fart at that! Tom Shultz, lead guitarist, MIT Graduate... made his own effects, boards, etc... and recorded this whole album in his basement! Tuned PERFECTLY for a HIFI Turntable!!! Any Digitizing of it... doesnt do it Any justice compared to an old fashioned record player!!!! Period, Nuff Said, etc...
