I told you in the comments, how to do. (Before your trip to Florida) Use the waterproof case. drill a hole in this case, for the cable of the mic adapter. connect the cable seal the case hole with silicone. You asked in your video, how to do. I answer in the comments.

@@HerTwoWheels Yes, so look for another material or solution, to use it again and again. I do another way. I put the camera in a waterproof case, without recording audio. (You can switch off, in the camera menu) I connect my microphone to an audio recorder. In my inner pocket of the jacket. (Or with an recording app, and a cheap adapter for smartphones.) So I record video and audio separate, and add it in the video edit software. I must not make it lip synchron, because no one see the lips, because the helmet on.

New to your channel. Absolutely love to listen to you talk and hear the excitement in your voice. The love of owning and riding gets in your blood and stays in your blood. I know you say you don’t do maintenance on her but remember thats just another part that makes it part of you. I am 46 years old and have been riding on and off since I was 16 and one thing I do is work on my bike. I believe that if you work on her she will treat you even better. Plus it is like everything else the more you know the more you come to love everything about the hobby. The time that is spent on the road or even on the lift getting your hands dirty just makes that next ride even more memorable. Keep it up right, stay in the fast lane, and the rubber side down. Hope one day the person that I wave to on a pass by is you as you enjoy the road.

Glad to hear you had a wonderful trip to Florida and back. Feels fabulous at times to be free on your own without any restrictions. Now it would be educational for you to have some knowledge regarding repairs and service to your Harley. Should you need to have repairs done so by an individual or another motorcycle company you will already have the idea of it’s cost and service recommendation. Otherwise they may see just some woman on a Harley and try to take advantage of your expenses for a part(s) you don’t need. An easy way to be familiar is purchase the actual service manual for your motorcycle. This manual is the same the mechanics use. When I worked at Honda this was the easiest method of education I learned for my motorcycles. Good luck. Also congratulations for reaching 25,000 miles and beyond.

You are a very lucky Harladie. My friend just bought a used Harley and it's been in the shop 3 times and he hasn't made the first payment. He got it at the dealer so it wasn't somebody's trash pass. I always hear about them constantly having problems. Glad you are having a good experience. Nothing worse than breaking down out on the road in the middle of who knows where. Ask anybody who has and they will tell you it is not a fun time. Turns that smile around real fast.

GRATS on the 25K milestone. My '05 road king had 126K trouble free miles on her when she was totaled by a left turning Cadillac. The mistress (2011 Ultra Limited) now has nearly 70K. Milestones are exciting. I took a video of the moment my 06 honda accord turned 200,000. Fun stuff. I bought a used 07 honda vtx1300r from a friend. It had 6600 miles. I don't know if I'll still be riding that bike to hit the large mileage milestones. Congrats on the first 25K!

Congratulations. Totally normal to celebrate mileage. I rescued my ‘03 VTX1800 from sitting for 5 years in a barn with 4,700 miles 5 years ago.. rolled over 16,000 on my last trip. LoL.! Obviously I don’t get the miles you do. Curse of being a long haul trucker.. (also rolled my truck over 1,000,000 miles around the same time.). Stay safe. Here’s to the next 25,000.

Congrats on the miles! I have a ‘09 heritage softail I bought used in ‘12 just turned over 104,000 miles with no major problems, absolutely love my bike..the trick to the throttle knob is to only tighten it so it holds it but to where you can still adjust it because it doesn’t work as well as cruise control and you’ll find yourself going 80 down hill and 40 up hill lol Be safe out there, always enjoy your videos!

Regarding the GoPro issue, IMHO you should stick with the 7. I own a 7 and then when the 8 came out I was excited about using the new nightlapse feature so I bought one when they were also including an extra battery and charger. I should have done some more research but the cameras are different sizes. This means all of your holders such as the Ulanzi case which holds the camera and the external mic adapter are not interchangeable. I had to buy all new ND filters, waterproof cases, etc. If I had to do it over again I would have purchased another 7 at half the price. The features between the 7 and the 8 are not that immense to warrant spending another $300 but another 7 at a reduced price would be a better decision. Just a suggestion from another rider. Be safe!
