Definitely going there (from CA) in the toy hauler. Don’t wanna feel burnt out half way thru the week, definitely will break off to see some historical sites over some of the event stuff but 11 days of event, who needs to stress!?

As for lane splitting I am not a proponent simply because there is always that cager that could be thinking "damn, my door's not shut then he opens it about a foot without looking and BAM motorcyclist down.

Too funny you were in my neck of the woods (Vacaville, Ca.). Yeah the marsh/mud smell on highway 37 is distinctive!

You were in Sac. Did you go to the old Town? That's a great place for a video. Also, knowing you, you would enjoy it.

Nothing like spending 30 minutes wingling a starter out from behind a cramped exhaust manifold and now realizing that you're about to spend the next 2 hours trying to wiggle the new one in.

I don’t lane split. I have two bikes, a 98 Goldwing, and an f800gs with hard panniers. Neither leave room for lane splitting. I am in Montana, so splitting just became legal a short time ago. Even if I had a smaller bike, I would not do so.

Full gear should be a legal requirement, if that cant happen how can you judge the rules????

I lived in the Bay area for a few years and my wife and I used to take the BART across the bay to the City and our favorite place to visit was Pier 39. Great food and awesome tours. Glad you enjoyed it. The Golden Gate is more majestic when the fog barely starts to roll in. Thank you for sharing.

I like her attitude and her attack on her videos. But kinda drawn out but still watching so thank you. Your a cool individual and a fellow rider. And always a plus when your pretty so that draws attention. Just being respectful. Keep up the good work and thanks. Cool your doing these videos. Going to Laconia in 2024 so thanks for that mt. Washington ride. Keep it up. Thank you. Ride on.

Filtering Definetly, Splitting over 20MPH stupid.

I'm OK with filtering, but the issue is vehicle drivers not being aware. Living outside of Austin I can vouch that Texas drivers can get petty. Some get mad when you try to zipper!

Glad you got a chance to see the driverless Waymo cause I equally shocked to see it 😂😂😂 It didn't run me over when I jumped in front of it.

I live in a country where it’s legal-ish. The law doesn’t mention it, but there’s a law regarding “2 wheeled vehicles” and “overtaking” that creates a loophole. Either way, 99,9% of people encourage you to do it, inc. cops; and the other (stupid) 0,01% get mad about it. I don’t even understand how this is a question anywhere. It’s the most logical thing to do. I actually get annoyed when I’m in my car in a traffic jam and someone on a motorcycle stays in front of me like if it was a car taking up precious space. I think the Germans got it right, they made it officially legal, but they ensured that it’s not totally reckless by specifying that the traffic has to be moving below certain speed… filtering.

Lane splitting on the M25 (London’s orbital motorway) is a white knuckle ride any hour of the day. If we didn’t do it we’d be there 4ever

In the UK there is no actual law to say if filtering is legal or illegal, it is the courts that decide if you were riding without due care and attention if something should happen whilst filtering (we do not use the term lane splitting, it is all filtering) You would be surprised at how few driving laws there are in the UK, most are around safety, seat belts/child seats, distractions like phones and I.C.E and obeying traffic signs. There is the highway code against which cases of driving without due care and attention are judged by, the highway code is not actually a law.

DCT's have their place, but they seem like they're missing something. Maybe it is a soul. I love the mechanicalness of older bikes. Especially before fuel injection and all the computers.
