My two cents on learning to regrip a tennis racket: As a former competitive tennis player, whenever I bought a new racket, regardless if it was pre-owned or brand new, I regripped it myself. Everyone has different preferences of how they want it gripped and I only liked it when it was done "my way." So, if you find a high-end racket, it might not be worth your time or effort to regrip it. I was less picky about the strings, but there are players out there that will do the same with the strings because they prefer a certain type/material of sting or a certain tension. (All rackets have a range of tensions they can be strung with, usually measured in pounds. A lower tension provides more control over ball placement and higher tension provides more power.) "Professional Model" rackets will never come pre-strung when they are brand new. Love your videos. I always learn a lot, so I saw the opportunity to share something I might know a little about. Didn't mean to "mansplain."

Very informative. Thank you.
@dlcrabtr10 ай бұрын
I was going to mention the same thing, most high end rackets come unstrung because some players like to customize based on string preference,type etc. In my area, stringing is $25 plus the string cost. Having 2 very competitive players in my family makes me want to learn how to string just to save me that reoccurring cost.

I'm going back and binge watching right now,so that's why I'm on this one. Just want to say that you're one of 2 resellers that I watch,and I'm learning just as you say you do. I did reselling until 3 years ago, when my daughter died. I'm ready to restart on Ebay now,so watching your channel has given me some new insight and ideas on what to resell. Thanks.

11:46 not pressure cooker they are sous vide cookers, it is suspended into a container of water, it holds the water at a very specific temperature so it cooks to an exact temperature of doneness you can set it for the right temp for a rare steak and put your steak in a vacuum sealed bag, toss it in the water and it's done in 40 minutes or 8 hours, if it is a tough cut let it go for a long time and it will be tender but even after 10 hours it will still be rare if that is the temperature you set.

We love ours! We cook a bunch of chicken or some steaks and then freeze them. We sou vide them back to warmth and then pan sear .
@flattop2239 ай бұрын
@@kathy2940 why cook before freezing? You can cook them in the Sous vide from frozen and raw as fast as you can reheat from frozen and cooked in the Sous vide, you should just vacuum pack and freeze until you are ready to cook and sear. I used to make the same mistake of cooking then freezing, my brother told me the same I just told you. Save the time of the first cook
@kathy29409 ай бұрын
@@flattop223 Just thinking of the time factor. Wouldn't reheating be faster than cooking from frozen? Sometimes I just put the chicken breast in the frig overnight in a Ziploc bag and slowly reheat clipped to side of pan of water. Then.pam sear . Yummy. Will give your idea a try. Thank you!
@flattop2239 ай бұрын
@@kathy2940 if you are comparing frozen cooked to frozen raw it should be almost the same, if you have cooked frozen then thawed that will be faster than the initial cook
