I personally love when Insym talks about his life as a content creator beyond the streams that he does daily. I find that games like these are really conducive to allowing your train of thought to flow. It’s the type of game to encourage you to just switch off your brain and chase the high. Reminds me of Markiplier’s Powerwash Simulator series. Keep it up, Insym!

As much as my daughter (with Autism) and I look forward to your videos (especially series ones like "Dave"), we do understand that it takes a lot of work to make a video... And you do make a lot of them. It is good that you make a variety, it attracts a wider audience. One thing I've learned in my almost 49 years on this planet is that you can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time. I've always said if someone doesn't like what they see, they don't have to look/watch. Just continue doing your thing. One thing that my daughter does ask is that you pet Momo the cat for her if you can, her name's Chloe.

I agree. Dave the Diver is essentially Terraria, Diner Dash, FarmVille, JRPG, and Feeding Frenzy in one game. Sooner or later someone will disagree on something they specializes in their Backseat Gaming. Not everyone should speedrun Salvage Drone v3, Tiger Shark and Tuna Breeding, Bancho Sushi perfrct run and staff hunt, 4x4 Paddy Fields and Garden every run on DtD. (Measured on day 21st in game taking 12 hours of gameplay) Sorry that there's no petting the cat... but you'd like what the cat would do later after enough cat food.

It's interesting, your progression through the game was sooo diffrent from mine. Like getting to the village before finding the net or not having the drone yet. I only started playing after seeing your first few episodes and I played way differently xD

Regarding the Sea People's quest; Based on my progress, some gives you money but I at least know 3 people who can benefit you in the future: -The Seed Merchant's questline on the first building with seeds will unlock his shops to buy Underwater Plant seed along with the farming plot to plant them. -The Dumpling Chef's questline will allow you to buy one of her dumpling for buff(s) that last for a dive. It can be movement speed, harpoon damage, reduced damage taken, etc. -The Blacksmith's questline will allow you to further enhance your gun by buying his materials for the upgrade you need, you can also buy weapon fragments and sell your stuff to him for more Bei. You can further upgrade your dart gun so it can put fish to sleep almost instantly and put to sleep Larger fish with 2 consecutive shot, super handy but you will need to unlock the glacier passage for the materials.

1:59 so you could see their base stats before you hire the employee, but you can also see their final stats before you hire them, just hit space and see details, it'll display their stats at lv 20, some employee have low stats at first but it can be their max stats later on, i've been deceived by this mechanism, i hired a staff that has higher cook at first but their passive and maxed stats going into serving. 34:41 you can use the board with the bell to call beluga, and also it cost less than calling it with the whistle, and you can also speed up by pressing shift.

The Tranquillizer Harpoon tip is great for sleeping big fish and jellies. It gives a 40/50/60% chance of sleeping targets it hits, even big fish and jellies. Pairs well with the sleep gun or tranquillizer rifle.

I bought this game during the first video you uploaded on DAVE and I love playing along while watching! The one thing the comments taught me was that I could bring up the MENU during the shift!! And that means I can turn "auto-supply" on or off DURING the shift 🤯🤯 I'm addicted to this game thanks to you 😂😂 also I knew the second I saw the thumbnail I would LOVE seeing your reaction to this part!!! 🤣🤣🤣I was like "wtf is going on, WHAT IS THIS GAME" 🤣🤣🤣 It's weird though, as much as this game is throwing at me I don't find it overwhelming?? BTW I have a tip I recently learned that I wish I had known. When you hire people, you can look at the details for the people and it'll give their max stats and abilities. Sometimes they'll have lower stats at the beginning but will have better stats after leveling than the ones that start at higher stats.

Insym I want to warn you about something I did that ended up forcing me to restart my game. When you promote your restaurant to platinum you get a charge every night for $2000 for something called 'operations'. I promoted to platinum quickly so when I got it I was only earning around 1500 a night. So the operations charge meant I was constantly at a loss every night. So don't promote yourself to platinum until you are making at least $3000+ every night. Also when you promote to diamond that operations charge goes up to $4000. Great series 😁

Love the videos! Bought the game and started to play along because it looked so fun :D it's a very unique experience with all the funny cutscenes and mini-games. It's really handy hiring a lot of people to send them off finding ingredients, however you still have to pay their salary! Keep that in mind :P Limestone cave only spawns sometimes, farm the grape-veggie as much as possible, that's the bottle neck. Salt you can send your employees out for and the jellyfish you can grow. EDIT: Oh right, you can also sprint with the beluga in the sea people village, it goes way quicker It's a fun series, same as subnautica :)

Hi Insym, I Play Dave the Diver as well and I found out, that when there is a QuickTime event with Z I need to press Y because the game is designed for the American keyboard. Furthermore I noticed that every time there are stalactite and Stalagmits it is a limestone cave even though it doesn’t always show the text.

Oh! I found out what people meant when they tell you that you need to upgrade your tranquilizer for big fish. They mean the rifles, snipers, or triple axle guns... each of these has a Tranquilizer upgrade that will have I think, a 40% chance of tranquilizing fish it hits. The dart gun is always only good against little fish... so if you want to tranquilize sharks or bigger fish, you need to use a Tranquilizer Rifle, Tranquilizer Triple Axle, or Tranquilizer Sniper Rifle.

you should give the netgun a try, its not the best on its first level, but when you upgrade it to a medium or large net its so much more efficient than a hush dart. You can net multiple trevally sized fish in one hot, I've even gotten about 8 catfish in one net. its very satisfying being able to kite a much of small predator fish and jellies just to net them all in one or two shots. Also you should be able to buy more and expand your fish farm if not soon. all farms can be upgraded at some point

So Dave the Diver is made by MINTROCKET which is a brand of Nexon, which is the developer of MoE. Actually I found out the other way around when I googled MoE and saw "Nexon" I was like wait, I've heard that before … :D

Insym, regaurding your English, I feel a lot of native english speakers dont appreciate how difficult it is to speak another language. English is a language where you can go basically anywhere in the world and find someone to communicate with. My second language is Korean, and I lived for quite some time in South Korea. So I can empathize with dealing with native speakers criticizing you for not being perfect. Though you've acknowledged this, your English is super good. When I first started watching your videos, I had no idea you weren't a native speaker. That's how colloquial you are. Yes, every language has rules, structures, and vocabulary you need to learn. But a language also uses a lot of culture (through idioms) to express thought. Being able to understand and use idioms and expressions properly is what sets a master of a language (like you) and a student of a language (like me) apart.

You should also give the net-thrower weapon a try. In my opinion it's better than the hushdart: You don't have to wait for them to fall asleep, you can catch mutliple fish at once but also bigger ones like jelly fish and it lasts forever (instead of them waking up after a while)!

aaaaahh, happy you found out how the zones are connected. Its good, cos seapeople zone will fill the air up.
