everytime a new dave episode drops i love going through the comments right when it drops to see people just as excited that a new dave episode is finally out as i am. i love this dave the diver community weve built here

the first night is exactly the reason why you do NOT ignore the stats and specially the skills of your staff. people learn from it. get someone who can clean and make drinks. (el nino, raptor, drae) so you can concentrate on wasabi and helping out when wasabi isnt necessary, but the staff still can handle all for the most part.

You should really be using the net gun. It fully maxed out can catch a lot of the bigger stuff (tuna, some sharks, rays) and you can catch multiple in one net. I caught 3 tuna in a single net once and it was insane how much meat I got.

I finished Dave the Diver the other day, and I'm still just as excited as Day 1 to see your experiences with it to the end. When you have one of those parties, look at the menu and there'll be a pink bow on all the dishes that are wanted/needed for that event. Those are the ones you wanna OP and serve. You can also arrange the menu by price, taste, etc. and it makes it easier for you to pick what you want. Oh, and since you asked, my chickens are named: Bock Bock, Bagerk, BB Beech, Peckerhead, and Käk.

The thresher shark (and other dangerous fish) are a lot more manageable if you upgrade the underwater rifle to a tranq rifle. When the 40% chance to sleep hits, you can run away, pick it up with the drone, or keep shooting and carve. I'm still never happy to see one, but it makes their encounters a lot easier. You can also use the tranq rifle on smaller fish, but it'll frequently just kill outright, especially jellies. If you want to have a regular supply of those, keep them in your farm.

The tropical fish plate is easily my favourite dish. When you level it up (i think mine is currently level 7) it sells for over 700+ and the ingredients are so easy to get. Very worth it for a higher gain during the nights.

I absolutely love this game, I recently got laid off and Dave has been a great way for me to cope (not to sound too pitiful or anything, it's just been a fun distraction while I figure stuff out). I'm glad it's not just me who accidently uses melee when trying to harpoon, I was worried there was something wrong with my mouse lmao
