I wash my filters out in warm soapy water, rinse, dry, dip completely in oil, squeeze it out, job done.

There's a company called outerwears that make super fine micron dust covers for these cars but even then I wouldn't drive one these in dust, most people run them in open fields on grass or on pavement.

What’s the point in having an off road car on grass or pavement lol dust is much more fun! And those outawears are a fortune!

@@HaggardRC the point is that you don't end up with dirt in your engine and yeah they're expensive but they work and better than rebuilding the engine it's up to you what you do with your toys

Don’t get caught up with all that just any 2-stroke oil will do. Stuff from the local garden Center will be fine.

No not at all, the steering is just as good as you’d expect, it is a bit slow but most standard servos are. And it doesn’t roll easily either in my opinion. I assume yours does?

Foam is not great for RC models, paper like majority of full size cars should be used

Rovans are almost an exact ripoff of the hpi baja, are the air filters interchangeable? A smear of grease on the base of the outer filter and some filter oil, maybe an outerwears cover and nothing should get past it.
