@@TheFishAndTrips yeah, I had been going to Seawolf, but since it’s back open 24 hrs everyday it’s been dry. I’m considering getting a Yak and start hanging out in the bay. Seems like that’s where all the fish are. Getting hard trying to find a consistent spot bank fishing. Too limited and too much time spent driving around.

Love your videos! I don't get to fish the coast as often as I want. When I do, I go to the bank fishing spots. Since I've had both my hips replaced, I'm still walking with a cane. Makes it too hard to wade. :) Keep up the good work, and hope to catch you on the water!

Just grab some live or dead shrimp in Galveston then head to Seawolf park and hit the pier. For your kids. Buy 10 Sabiki rigs and you just cut small pieces of shrimp for each hook. Go to the pier and find a spot close to the front by the second pier lights. Your kids will have a great time.

@@TheFishAndTrips Fish not looking at ur line, but the bait. As I stated, it's more suited for big fish fights. Whatever that was, popped that mono like a rubber band. Would not have happened with braided. Don't know if ur new to salt water fishing, but ask any seasoned saltwater angler, they will tell u braided is better. Ur use to hooking small stuff with that mono.
