I live in London. There is great food from every culture in the world here including the US, so it’s not fair to say the food is bad here just because the hotel food did it badly. Actually funnily enough, I thought the food was really bad when I went to New York because it was much harder to find healthy food in gas stations and airports. In London every corner grocery has healthy options.

I'm an architect, I designed Market Place Vauxhall, (which is about a 20 minute walk from Big Ben) and that place has amazing food options. Anyone visiting London should go there and check it out. I'm not sure what hotel you stayed in but the food in London is great.

I love that galaxy leotard! Also that opera house in London is nice, but you should see the ones in Paris. I toured a few of them when I was a bit younger than you, on my vacation to Paris. Those places were amazing! Sadly, I got deported and couldn’t go back for a few years. Although I could go back now, I can’t really afford it.

Being tired after arriving in London from NY is normal and can last for several days - jet lag! It’s always best to ease into the new location and weather rather than carry on as though your body was not affected at all.

You definitely ate at the wrong places if you think food sucks. I have never eaten worse food in my life than in the States. Around Mayfair, Soho and Covent Garden there are some of the best restaurants not just in the Uk but in the world, many with Michelin stars to accompany them which aren’t easy to achieve! But you have to know where to go! Never eat in tourist traps like hotels! That’s like eating at a drive-thru or gas station!

I’d be interested to know which hotel that was as the food did not look good…I personally don’t eat meals in city hotels unless they are four or five star…you’re far better off eating in a local bistro, pub or restaurant. I have done the same when travelling abroad as cheap hotel food is not always the best…

@@Evanysphotography That’s surprising as I’ve had friends stay there who have said that the restaurant food was lovely and it’s supposed to be a five star boutique hotel? Such a shame you have been unlucky with food in London and not everyone likes to complain but if it makes you feel unwell you should say something…there are some good restaurants nearby but I’m guessing room service is easier after a busy day…I don’t think I’d stay there having seen your experience ☹️

I used to be a vegetarian, so when I first started eating meat again, I wanted everything well done. But now? Gimme a nice, gooey egg or medium rare steak with some blood. I'll even eat hamburger that's probably too rare (burgers should be cooked more because they're not as good of meat as steak and if they're under done you may get sick).The trick is to start at fancy restaurants, where the lights are turned down low and you can't see how "raw" the food is. The taste will change your mind within 3-7 meals. Bet! Mmmmmm, slimey looking but sooooo good!

@@margot024 It's not the yolk that's the problem, it's the white. You can see there's still uncooked egg white which is unsanitary (unless you're in Japan).

And if youre in Italy or France, the waiter may come back out and inform you that the chef wants you to leave immediately.
