Thanks Rob! I'm so glad I went back too. I was pretty apprehensive about the whole trip which, in a weird way, made it better - my expectations were soooo low! This hotel really blew me away - so unexpectedly great! I met a few people that really enjoyed sightseeing in Abu Dhabi (they loved the theme parks) so I might give it another try in the future too!

Hiya! 125 square meters of apartment, that reminds me of the Mantra apartment I booked in Gold Coast. That owl looks so beautiful, you reminded me of me back in 2011 in England having an owl on my shoulder. I always love seeing animals and getting close with them when traveling. I laughed out loud when you told us about not noticing your butler being your butler. The desert in the Middle East is wild. I felt motion sick last time I drove a snowmobile as well, I think it’s comparable with your ride through the desert. Take it easy and most importantly: drink enough! Night swims in a personal pool at night. What else would one need? Breakfast in the pool is something for the bucket list! I remember my visit to the Mosque of Abu Dhabi and it was so impressive. I think it was the highlight of my trip, even better than Ferrari World or Yas Waterworld. Thanks for sharing your view of Abu Dhabi and have an amazing week ahead 🤙

Hi Phoebe 🙂, As a man/solo traveler, I have great respect to female solo travelers from bottom of my heart. Even though we are living in a civilized world (most of the time), we can still experience some of the primitive sides of human from some parts of this wonderful world. Despite of the gender, as travelers we do have experiences like that. (I am not being sexist or disrespectful here. But we all know as a fact that women experience more challengers when they are traveling. Especially when they travel solo. Which is a sad thing). So coming back to my original point, I hope as a smart woman you do your own research and take necessary safety precautions when traveling. Yes. There is a risk in everything we do on daily basis. But we should have the ability to measure the level of the risk that we are about to take. And "PLEASE DON'T TAKE ANY HIGH RISK DECISIONS". (I wanted say to avoid risky / unsafe destinations for women) Especially avoid places where you've had unsafe/dangerous experiences before. You might be thinking why this random stranger telling me these stuff 🙂 I didn't want to scare you or make you uncomfortable. Just wanted to ensure your safety. I don't know why but my mind or something higher than my mind told me to share this with you. Really glad you enjoyed this trip. You are most definitely one of the most genuine, kind natured and lovely people on the net. I myself am not long back from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I was working there for 3.5 weeks. I'll just say that despite all the treasures and scenes around you, there is a very different vibe on the "Real" streets if you will. Zero tolerance, a lot rules that must be abided by and a kind of strictness that you always feel is hovering above you. It was still a wonderful time but I saw some things I didn't agree with. Any way beautiful channel and a beautiful lady.

The breakfast was included and when I arrived at my room they'd put pastries, fruits and other yummy snacks in the fridge (all included) the activities and dinner weren't included :)
