You guys would probably love going thru my total of 1780's wheats, I have had in a tin, since 1997 when I lost both my grandfather's, I haven't found a wheat pennies in my change in about 3 yrs. I do roll hunt but not pennies. Have fun guy's!

Yeah I have rolls of them as well. About 25000 indian head pennies. From mid 1800's to early 1900's. Yeah, tons of them. Just sitting in rolls. An inheritance. Tons of other coins around the same ages.

Just because it not shiny my grand daughter was helping me count my change told her to look for dirty old penny but she said papa here's one that is shiny and it is a 1949 no mark looks like a 2013 new penny same condition.

Canadian coins are fine copper till 1996. 5 cents 10 cents and 25 cents are fine nickel till 1999. After that, there's a small "p" for plated under the Queen Elizabeth bust. They are rare now because they are collected for the metal. Same for the pre 1968 silver 25 cents and 10 cents. People collected them by the gallons back then. Ref: the 2020 chalrton coin guide (59e edition)

Can you beat what I found once? It was a customer wrapped penny roll, and when I opened one end of it I saw the reverse of a 1949 Canadian penny. I thought that was going to be the only one in that roll. I was wrong; that roll had 45 Canadian pennies ranging from 1937-1951 (no 1952s strangely enough) and only 5 copper pennies from 1982. I am not kidding, that roll had every penny from the George VI era in it, including a 1947 maple leaf penny. I have not found anything like that ever since.

I have an ENTIRE 25.00 bank rolled box of ALL 2009 " Birth and early childhood " Lincoln Commemorative pennies! All NOS ( Brand SPANKING NEW )...I'll probably hold on to them until 2029. Because a 20 year old " BRAND NEW " Low mintage penny will only gain in value with time.

Ryan,could you explain why everytime I turn my KZbin channel it 👀seems like you have to go crazy looking for another coin. I started doing this looking for another coin that you and others say to look for another coin that people should start looking for another for. My whole dining room table is full of coins,I never use my change because I am proud of myself for collecting the coins and I started doing this because my father left his coin collection and then a friend gave me a case full of all different items and one was a War Nickel and I was fascinated by it and then with the penny collection I really got into it. My son works in a big chain store and everytime I wash his pants and he doesn't even care about the change but I find a lot of wheat pennies. But really I enjoy it but I just don't understand why like I said they keep showing a different coin to look out for. Thank you for taking the time to read this comment and I hope to hear from you.
