I'd say both sides have ruined it but the big difference here is 10-20% of men ruined it for all of men and 90% of women ruined it for themselves. The only women not getting dates or any attention have something drastically wrong with them so somewhere less than 10%. Men on the other hand 80% or more are treated as invisible and only kept around to maintain society (infrastructure). I'm curious what becomes of the future once more men become self aware of this fact. The high profile men are sleeping with and getting commmitment from whoever they want, the only ones who really win in this scenario. We're basically back to the days of Genghis Khan where men have harems. They'd rather share the top than settle for anything close to average. Their grandmothers weren't this shallow and disloyal (monkey branching).

He wanted to go out and party a lot and I have a dog that can´t stay home alone without barking/scratching the doors all night, so I just never went anywhere where I couldn´t take it with me. Big cities are the worst place for average guys to find a relationship because there's an endless supply of Chads to distract the women. Hypergamy runs amok in big cities. In smaller towns women quickly learn which Chads are taken and which are players, giving average guys a chance with them. A story about female accountability. Back in college I decide to go for a walk, clear my head. On the way out there's a pretty girl at the dorm's reception desk. I walk over and try to strike up a conversation. She feigned interest at first, then picked up her phone for a few seconds and started ignoring me. Seconds later there are FIVE armed campus police there demanding that I move and they asked for my ID multiple times trying to make me nervous and get my attention. I argued for a bit... why do I need to move? This is shared walking space and there's no one here that I could be in the way of, etc. Then I notice the manager peeking around the corner again. Suddenly everything clicked. The receptionist wasn't willing to simply TELL ME that she's uncomfortable. The manager wasn't willing to simply TELL ME that she's uncomfortable. The cops weren't willing to simply TELL ME that she's uncomfortable. Instead it's escalate, escalate, escalate until I'm looking at a permanent record because NO ONE wanted to admit how the woman was feeling. I suddenly fall silent for several seconds processing this. When I first was dating my husband he was "friends" with his ex. This woman used and abused him, so I did not understand why he would even want to keep in contact. Anyway, it turns out she was trying her best to break us up, she even told him it was my fault he got cancer (he was diagnosed within a month of us dating), that the cosmos was trying to tell him to leave me. She was the one who left him for another man, but she couldn't stand that he was with a woman who made him happy. She wanted him, but didn't want him. Women are jealous creatures, if you have an ex you still talk to cut that BS out of your life, there is a good reason she is an ex and there is no point in keeping a harpy around that will ruin future relationships. She gave up a great guy who is loyal and affectionate and cares, because he wasn't making enough money being in the military for her. The funny thing is now that he is out he makes almost 100k a year, and helped me go through nursing school. Like most women she didn't want to help build him up, she just wanted the end result.
