I had a long period of parental alienation and it was awful but my son and daughter are both in contact with me and my daughter has gone no-contact with her mother. He was a heavy gambler, gambled away about $500k (yeah), a drinker, violent man in general, he was almost obese, a heavy smoker, he even used to beat me and my mom even tho we didn't do anything. My mother couldn't divorce him that soon because me and my 2 sisters were too young and she had low salary jobs almost her whole life.
