"Everybody makes mistakes." Yes, but not everybody learns from them. I have a seven year old daughter, and my husband and I are teaching accountability for her actions. Our daughter hit a boy in school because he was annoying her, and she tried to dodge it by saying "Well, he's a boy, and it's not bad to hit boys." Where did she get this message from? Not us. So we made her apologize and take RESPONSIBILITY for what she'd done. Even the teacher (a woman, of course), tried to help our daughter evade accountability. My husband asked what would've happened if the boy had hit our daughter--oh my, consequences for that! We're thinking of homeschooling our kid next year. She was fine when we did remote schooling but since the return to in-person classes, the teacher's influence on our child's behavior and outlook hasn't been a good one.

I married the man I met when I was 19. Now I am in my late 20s, we are financially well off, home owners and thinking about having kids soon. Back when I was in my early 20s, quite a few girls asked me if I felt like I was "missing out" on "experiences". They were "having fun" and going on vacations with multiple men. I never felt like I missed out. Now they want to settle down but they don't bring much to the table other than their bodies. Some are even single moms living in messy af rentals. Women need to understand that being "easy" and "fun" doesn't pay off in the long run at all. Focuse on self growth and wholesome people/relationships instead.

Even worse for your bed-hopping friends - a woman who has a high body count (double or even triple digits?!) has shown she doesn't, and maybe CAN'T, bond with one man. If her life pattern is going from guy to guy she will always think that way even if she lives to 80. Thus most of these type of women are very poor wife candidates and any guy that marries them is going to lose everything they have.

The peace and happiness I have at work knowing when I get off I get to go home to my husband and son is something indescribable. My home is my happy place because my husband and I have learned to communicate and live together in unison. Like today is Sunday it's "Minecraft day" when my husband plays with his work friends. I get up, walk the dog and make him a fat breakfast where I feed him at the computer desk as he plays. Sometime in the afternoon he comes and watches a movie with me and gives me all his time, because I give him the space to miss me. Pick well, if you pick the right person, marriage is so fulfilling and supportive that it makes it worth the work and struggle of learning to live with someone.

A single 42 year old woman who wants to have a baby. 😆 🤣 😂
@MrDarksword123 Жыл бұрын
Oh I can relate to what the second woman is complaining about. I've definitely been on a few crappy dates in the past. Had one where it seemed like the girl was excited about the dinner date beforehand (we met online), and the whole time I was carrying the conversation. I was asking all the questions, everything. She was all distant and boring and wouldn't ask any questions about me. This was the part where I told myself "time to go". I didn't even order food. I just quickly finished my drink, got the tab and left and she didn't even care. These women love to complain about their time being "wasted" yet they do this crap to men tenfold.

Then just sat there and looked as if to say "So how do you like them apples?" So I told her "Fine then, bye." and hit the bricks. Most women are crazy.

As a man, and I've gotten older, my "requirements list" has gotten longer and longer. Not because I'm delusional like these women, but rather because I realize I need women less and less, and in order to agree to settle down with her, she's going to have to be even more special than I would have settled for in my 20's when I was constantly walking around with a boner. Once your testosterone settles down and you realize how annoying and how much of a headache most women are, you realize how few of them are worth your time and energy and how few of them would actually add positive value to your life.

These women make me cringe and I am a woman. But sometimes is not that simple. When I was 18 I took a career based on my humanitarian dreams; a career that basically killed my social life. On top of it, I made loads and loads of overtime because I felt it was my duty, more so because I was the older daughter, to fix my parents finances. My mother put the family in debt and I felt some sense of duty to "save them". I wanted my younger sister to go to university so I paid for it too. As time moved on, I kept moving countries and with my work load I couldnt connect with someone because I was not putting myself out there. On top of it I felt too embarassed to bring a guy into my life when I had that heavy height on my back. It would not be fair to them either. It took me 10 years to clear my parents debt. And even now my mom just cares about me giving her money. It took me longer to learn how to say no. I became my mom's parent. I am paying the price for it. So in a way it makes me sad that because of some crazy women I am being judged for being 35 and single. I dont look my age but it is unfair to assume and presume that I am single because in the past I mistreated men. I only had 2 relationships in my 35 years of life and both long therm. They failed because in one of them he lied to me about something very serious and the second because he couldnt possible comprehend why I was helping my parents. I have no dreams or delusions of prince charming nor I suffer from Christian Gray syndrome. Sometimes things are just not meant to be and we need to accept that instead of going online blaming men.

We just talked to each other like “normal” people are supposed to and because we enjoyed each others company we continued to spend time together. I worked before we had our kid and helped with bills and all that. I ALWAYS kept the house clean, fridge stocked, dinners made and didn’t give him shit about playing golf or the occasional guys night out. We enjoy doing things for each other. I want to make his life easier bc I know how hard he works to take care of our family. Will my son ever have the opportunity to meet a girl randomly in person, get to know them and fall in love? Will he find someone who treats him as good as he treats her? Or will he be doomed to choose between being single or simping? I genuinely believe social media has ruined society.

Yes ladies there are many men who will treat you right and take care if you. However it won’t be Chad or Tyrone. The “don’t settle” is what keeps you single. You overvalue yourself and undervalue men.

Golden dating rule #1; Never take her out for dinner/lunch on a first date, Maybe a coffee at best. If she insists on dinner and gives you attitude, ask the waiter to split the bill in Duch and you only pay for your own orders. Chances are she only wants to see you for a free dinner and nothing more, The next day she'll have another dude on the hock for another free dinner. Don't be that sucker..

If you want to ask the waiter to split the bill in Dutch, memorize this line: "Ik wil graag de rekening delen"

Yep, I met a woman for drinks on a first date, it went well so I took her to dinner and after I came back from paying she was gone. I texted to see if she was ok, and never got a response. I never fell for that since.

This is so sad…..I have always believed that one of the most beautiful things in the world is the deep love that can be shared between a woman and a man. I am also aware that whether now or in past History, not everyone has been able to experience this for whatever reason. As a woman, I definitely feel that post feminism is out of hand and has nothing to do with what women really mostly needed…..the ability to basically survive on her own if she needs to. I am 51 years old, I have never been married, have no children but have had very long relationships where I truly was in love. No, I have not hit a wall….I will NEVER date online and still believe in old school circumstances if there is ever to be another special man in my Life. Perhaps you’ll dissect what I have written and pick it apart and read into it what I totally am not trying to say but what I want to make clear is that I will never give up on believing in a deep mutual bond between a man and a woman because I know it exists TODAY!!! Unfortunately the reality is that not everyone gets to experience that and I don’t think it was any different in the past. The difference is that you could NOT divorce during those times. Society wouldn’t let you and let’s be honest, women had no way of surviving without marriage or being a “spinster” and being supported by family.
