Lol I got that rejection in the beginning during my first playthrough and went back to my save to change my answer. Turns out you can still get him to be with you if you choose a few different answers. He'll suggest something along the lines of "you know, you and I could have our own fun". It is funny to see how you managed to have none of the companions want to spend the nigth with you 😂

@@steph0711 you can, even when the approval are too low? It needs a lot of reloadd, a lot of hours, a lot of mods and a frustrating bf :D

@OonalovesAstarionssimpleplan Yeah. And what also helps is focusing on the things that give the most improval points. Like, letting Astarion kill the Gur gives you 5 approval points (though if you don't want to do that because you want to be nice that's understandable). Same goes with letting him bite you (10) and afterwards saying you trust him to the others (5). I had negative approval in act 1 but after those choices it went up significantly

That's why I was wondering whether the romance could still begin despite the low approval? or did you go back that far in the game to get the approval up before the party?

@@OonalovesAstarionssimpleplan ​ Ohhh yes, it was low, but I saved my game before I said whatever choice I said to get the answer of "ugh no", and then went back to change it. Sorry. So I can't say for certain if you still can get the romance going if you keep going there... maybe if you get his approval high enough, but I dunno otherwise. I also can't remember exactly which choices there were to get him to sleep with me... pretty sure I said something about goblins having a better party or something, I took a swig of the wine...
