Please don't let all of those hateful comments get to you. I guess internet trolls think you should have perfect kids. You are a wonderful Mama to these beautiful children. Happy Mothers Day Joy!! ❤

This video just blesses my heart. As an early childhood educator for over 20 years, I have watched the imagination and outdoor activities disappear from the lives of these kids. Especially since the pandemic. Kids only socialized in limited amounts. Sometimes they don’t even understand the concept of make believe. Bless you all. You’re doing it all right mama!

From a former Daycare worker accidents can happen with you right there. It only takes a second. You can be watching one child trunk you head and look at another child them bam. Kids are kids and they are going to get hurt whither you are standing right there or not. No one should be judging anyone. There is no perfect parent, we all make mistakes. Get a life people your not perfect , so stop trying to act as if you are better than anyone else. ❤ your family. Keep doing what your doing. Those of us who love you can tell the kids are having their best life. ❤

The children are being bought up the good old fashioned way. Out side, playing. Not stuck in front of a screen…no harm came to us kids bought up this way. Gideon will stop sucking his thumb, it’s really nothing to get all upset about..you won’t see him as a grown man sucking his thumb..it’s really nit that important. Thanks for sharing joy..love your little family and love what you share..maybe get a moderator to do some blocking and deleting so you don’t have to read the poop. It's wonderful to see children outside playing, it's far too rare these days. I grew up in the 70's... When we weren't at school we were out playing. And kids didnt even wear a watch back then, let alone have something tracking where we were. We'd take off in the morning or as soon as we got home from school and for most kids, when the street lights came on it was time to go home. Parents in the neighborhood were usually at least aquaintences and would look out for each others children so, if someone got hurt an adult that could help was never too far away. It's awful how so many parents now keep their children indoors, preventing them from exploring, challenging themselves and learning through play... Not to mention the lack of exercise. Its stunting childrens development and self confidence in so many ways. And if that weren't bad enough, useing screen time in it's place. It's heartbreaking to witness, but they'll insist technology is making life so much better and get offended and defensive If you dare dissagree.

Thank you so much for raising your children to play outside and use their imaginations. We played outside all day long and I feel we are better for it. To many parents use gaming systems and tablets for a babysitting and the kids never get to experience making up their own adventures and taking in all the outdoors has to offer. I love that you take the kids camping and you allow them to get dirty. You and Austin are helping them to create core memories they will talk about for a very long time. Listening to Gideon and Evie explain Gideons konky bonk was so entertaining. Of course, we are happy Gideon wasn't seriously injured and you didn't panic. Head wounds do tend to bleed a lot, but you knew exactly how to respond. We hope you have a great summer, and we can't wait for your next adventure.

Happy Mother’s Day, Joy! And might I add a very fine Mother at that! I would have been so thrilled to have had a daughter like you. Unfortunately, I was unable to have kids, but I dearly love them. I look forward to Friday nights to catch up with your week. The most heartwarming thing on this video to me was when the kids saw Papa approaching!!, Every parent/child relationship should be so happy, loving and secure. Unfortunately, too many children are not so blessed. The train ride sounded like something I would really love. I’m sure the Ozark are beautiful. I live pretty near the Great Smokey Mountains and I have a love for the mountains! Be lifted up, Joy, and remember always where your strength comes from. Don’t listen to naysayers. They are going to always be showing their wicked heads. It is just a bad spirit they possess imo. I will never understand what people gain bah putting others down. I can tell you from years ago, you are my favorite of your sisters, though I love them all. There is something special about you. You and Austin have the whole package! Love and Prayers from East Tennessee. ❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰🥰
