We will have to watch and live whatever happens first hand. For you it's happening on a screen. Give us a break - those of us who didn't want this are dealing with enough. There's a ton of fear going around already and what we need is a reminder this is survivable. We're already filled our glasses to the brim with doom around here. Read the room my guy.

Now is a time to redirect that energy towards helping individuals instead of organizations. For things that are "state's rights" you can help people travel between states or offer a place to stay. For people denied acceptance or medical support, you can provide personal support, which is uniquely helpful, and ultimately more helpful than those other things alone. And all of this is more personally rewarding. It's okay to rest for a time, but when you're ready to do more, remember these things.

Hey Steve, I learned something new. I didn't know that the Constitution of the United States does not address any personal conduct standards regarding candidates for high office. There are no limitations based on character or criminal record. Because I wasn't a very good student in high school, I had the misguided idea that a convicted felon could not run for president. This is a real learning experience for me. The Constitution allows citizens total choice of political candidates - for better or for worse.
