Fun fact: when Vermont is in early testing, its icon has "soon" on it, but in Chinese, WG used "很快" as translated text for it, however “很快” can also mean "very fast", so “very fast” Vermont has became a meme in Chinese community

Brisk is also amazing on Italian and British BBs, basically anything that can go dark reliably and likes to stay mobile.

U don't need it on UK BB's due to the range while yes, it's mandatory on ITA BB's

I like brisk on nearly all BBs. Even if the only value you get out of it is getting to a good position in the early game, it's worth it.

It's really nice on Ita BBs for the smoke On UK, its nice on conq cruiser build, but apart from that, ppl can just sit at range and spam

Got my Lion up to about 35-36 knots with the speed flag, brisk and with only around 12km concealment

I use Brisk on the Slow BBs in combination with Propulsion Mod 1, so the Ship goes faster to the max speed.

Vermont is by far my favorite battleship. I personally think that its better than Slava simply because it does what Slava does, but it can also do things Slava cannot do. You typically don't want to duel with Slava because there is no overmatch and its only nine 406mm guns, but when forced to brawl, even if you might die, with twelve 457mm guns you can almost guarantee at least heavily damaging the enemy if not blowing them out of the water outright. She can be surprisingly tanky when properly angled, and the 51mm plate coupled with 32mm ends makes you immune to most BB AP. Its also impossible to overextend with Vermont which keeps you alive and teaches you proper BB play, being a mid-long range artillery platform supporting destroyers and cruisers as you said PQ. Its hard to throw the ship away and give points to the enemy unlike Schlieffen where people charge in going mad on secondary's and throwing their ship away. 20 second dmgcon too, 30 if you take skills and the dmgcon mod 🤤

I have Brisk on Thunderer (easy to activate with good concealment). Works quite well.

I've been running brisk on the Atlantico. That little boost helps to close the gap and get in secondary range.

What do you think about the new detection concept being tested: "Ships' base detectability range by air is now equal to their detectability range by sea, but all other modifiers affect it as before. However, planes can only detect ships at distances closer than 10 km." If ships need to be closer than 10km to be spotted, why bother making their air detectability range equal that of sea? Destroyers get really screwed?

I use brisk in Conq and Thunderer, works pretty well with the GOD concealment.

I had a great 186k game in Vermont yesterday, played a game after that and got the worst rng, hitting like 2 shells on a des Moines multiple times. Theres a reason I struggle with BBs I think, I just don't like the randomness, I think it's why I click so well with UU Yamato.

Makes sense if you want more SPEED on your BBs. And hay any BB with good concealment can benefit form BRISK.

Noted that when you were talking about the dd in the cap brisk popped up for a split second and that told me the dad was eather placing smoke or behind the smoke island that your superstructure was above it happened fast so I think you just missed it

Good game nice to see close matches, I don’t really agree with the build it’s like a gunboat Shima or AA Yamato, yes it makes the weakness slightly less but really just turd polishing in my potato view.

If I built for concealment at all I'd use brisk on Vermont, but since the concealment is already bad, I'd rather buff the desirable stats of the ship. AA, torp protection, fire abatement, and gun accuracy.

Would SO swap out Super Heavy AP for Grease and Gun Feeder, especially with a Doe commander... that kiting Yamato could eat a ton of HE damage and you can swap in what, 10 seconds with Doe?

I use Brisk when playing Constellation, because nothing screams American threat deterrence like 8 16in guns moving around the map at 40 knots.

The mod that shows real time victory situation assuming game times out OUGHT TO BE STANDARD IN THE GAME. It's one thing for players not to pay attention to it, but it's hard to realise you're going to lose in these very close situations when the game doesn't tell you yet COULD so easily do so. Typical of WG not to bother with something that could potentially improve game play through player understanding.

shooting on a yoshino on the other side of the map was a mistake. the pommern relied on your help. maybe if you had shot on the yamato too the pommern would be still alive and the whole game would be a lot easier.

Yeah it's fun on Georgia. Prefer it on Jean Bart myself though, makes it so you always have speed boost active to an extent, hidden and it on spotted and just hit the button.
