Safety first to see at night. Even some cars today have very dim headlights and then there are the super bright ones which are blinding. Thanks for the history lesson!

bought all kinds of jc whitney stuff fm converter chrome door visors illuminated compass chrome grab handles rear window louvers tailgate net cb whips sunroof microphone/pa system label maker for toolbox amber led strip lights tinted headlight covers for square body trucks and they used to have cool pickup/van rear window graphics a type of printed mesh wild west or cartoon theme dont see those anymore

That stuff used to be super cheap back in the '70s-'90s. I just saw a NOS set of KC fog light covers on eBay for $350!

H4 headlight was much better than a sealed beam. By early 70s the sealed beam beam pattern was woefully outdated.

I think they ruin the look of a 37-39 car. The teardrop headlights were beautiful.

Yeah, I'm not going to run them. Just showing what options were back in the day. When I switch this car to 12v I'm going to modify the reflectors to hold modern halogen lamps from new headlights. That way it will look stock, but have good lights.
