I suspended this same boat in the air to do a trailer swap. Malibu said i could lift using the bow eye. Hoist in front, forklift in back. Move trailer with either truck or by hand.

why isnt the hand winch on the trailer strong enough to pull the boat on to the trailer if i rented that boat i would of left it at the lake

Ok let me break it down. It is strong enough. However it isn't made to pull a 4000 pound boat up if the trailer isn't back up enough. The wench is from the factory I believe they put a 1500 pound winch. Which is plenty to load a boat right and if you would have left it at the lake and you were my customer I would have kept your deposit and charged more. You better make sure you don't sign a contract.

All you had to do was chain the trailer to the forklift then use your winch.
