Have you thought about using Redeemable Jar? it's pretty good at recycling traps. The craziest/bet Duel Live I have ever seen (wish i had a recording) was a similar paleo deck (only 40 cards) vs a FULL gas Branded deck. This Branded player had all the works; mirrorjade recycles, fusing with opponents' monsters, everything... You've never seen a Branded player pull off so much and lose. But this paleo player kept recycling and kept controlling until they could combo into Zealantis with water lock and seal a win. Inspired me to build a full paleo deck.

tried it. shapesister is too lame in this deck and armory arm plain sucks. they do not defend you at all and cant protect any of your monsters. they help you win only if you are already winning which means they are bad.

It's pretty rng of a matchup, running 60 means sometimes josh doesn't get a good hand even going first. And depends if there is any backrow removal. Fortunatly in ninja we got both backrow removal and protection so it can be cringe but shouldn't be that bad. That said bo1 is cringe so yep.

Omg, so that's what that is called. I played against that yesterday and it was omega cancer. 5 trap cards, which also activate graveyard effects when used/destroyed causing more trap cards to come to the field, some of which you can activate on the same turn (usually your turn). in 2 turns he activated 4 card destruction/banish effects back to back. Thank god i had Cyberdarkness end dragon lol.

Paleos aren't treated as traps once they become monsters, so Imperial Custom wouldn't protect them.
