It felt like the AI either prioritizes link monsters and is rabidly summoning them whenever there’s a possible link summon, hence the adventure monsters into knightmare and accesscode into balelynx, and/or the Swordsoul bot can’t recognize that it will get a synchro from the Mo Ye effect so it doesn’t consider that an option and continues to see tenyi summons and barrels down that path.

The main problem is that the bots have no sense of "cost" so they'll discard their key combo pieces, pop their own cards, and use their boss monsters as material. Also, they have no concept of "gameplan" so they mess up any search, and pull the trigger on any quick effects or traps ASAP. The best bot deck would feature completely reactive cards that don't pay cost, and single-purpose monsters it can't misplay. A rank-4 toolbox with gadgets, kagetokage, tin goldfish, etc. and basic traps like mirror force and bottomless would do well I think.

The devs could definitely improve the bots by copying the player's performance of the decks with different hands and if the deck isn't linear be able to copy the variety of plays or combos made. Also, have a way to make sure they don't have to go "play happy" every turn. I'm sure there's a bit more problems than what I listed, but those are some of the biggest ones to get patched up.
