Top gun and Ken's theme (street fighter II) is one example, another is DKC 2 Bayou Boogie (Swamp level theme) and In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins. Funny thing is, I just sampled a clean note from the original piano solo. I think the inevitable distortion from playing a sampled note at different pitches is what gave it such a perfect SNES MIDI sound.
