Even beginners can make large works relatively easily by performing electric potter's wheel molding using the hand-held technique.
It is a hybrid molding of hand-kneading and electric potter's wheel.
There are many challenges that must be overcome in electric potter's wheel molding, such as "soil kneading" and "centering of clay", but I will introduce how to eliminate those challenges and make a large work beautifully.

そうなんです。大きな器作りたいけどはじめから電動ろくろというのはハードルが高くて、縁に近づくにつれて薄くなったり、グニャリと失敗するけど、しっかり手びねりで土台作ってからなら頑張れそうです。 ろくろ、益々欲しくなりました👍️

いつもコメントありがとうございます。 そうですね！大きい作品をいきなり電動ろくろ成形は難しいので、手びねりの要領で途中まで仕上げると比較的簡単につくれますね！ 最後の粘土を延す工程のみ電動ろくろを使います。

障害教室なので電動ろくろつかえなので頑張って大きめにチャレンジして見ます。話変わるんですが、湯飲み絵の具で色入れて色がかぶらず中色まわりが白くなるのは、なぜですか、透明釉薬に入れても透明になるだけだよと、施設の先生が。自分の自腹で釉薬買うので詳しく教えて下さいお願いします。

コメントありがとうございます。 仰っている内容がよく理解できないのですが、絵の具が濃くて釉薬を弾いてしまっているのかもしれませんね。 詳しくは施設の先生に聞いてみると良いと思います。

おそらく、湯呑みの外側と内側を分けて、釉がけしているから、色がかぶらないのだと思います。 透明釉薬をかけて、かわくと白くなりますが、本焼きをすると透明になるよーと先生はおっしゃってるのだと思います。 釉がけのかけ分けについて、調べたらよいと思いますよー。
