I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THIS LITTLE OVEN!

I’ve been eyeing this one for a while and I FINALLY gave in and treated myself to the 6-1 Wonder Oven from @ourplace this past weekend. You know me as someone who usually gets excited about innovative beauty products and formulas fam, but I have a not-so-secret confession: I’m also a huge enthusiast when it comes to quality kitchenware! And a domestic goddess. (Christina got real lucky) 😂 I really was introduced to this brand because of their Always pan, which we use quite frequently. And to be honest, it’s tough when you want to buy everything, especially when there’s no Our Place location in New York to browse in person. But hey, with my Wonder Oven purchase, I think I have a versatile gem to keep me happy for a while! I’ll keep y’all updated on how I like her. Have you checked out Our Place before?

The breville smart oven air fryer pro is so similar but is bigger and does 14 different settings! Ive had it for 5+ years and use it as my only oven almost every day!

I love a toaster oven. As a childless by choice vegetarian I will never use a big oven like every western home has. All I really want is one of those and a stand alone propane powered burner that I see food influencers use a lot. I might need a double burner tho because I make sauce and boil pasta at the same time a lot, tho. But I will never need a big oven

I have a Cuisinart oven like that. It’s very handy but can be hard to keep clean. Once you master that it is great. Fries and onion rings are great.

$195 for a glorified toaster oven is insane. My bff had one, didn’t do what it says it does, couldn’t return it, literally bought it like 3 months ago when it came out, so she brought it to our office and it’s been sitting in the break room for a couple of months now and everyone hates it. The dials are so hard to use and on several occasions it has not turned off all the way so it’s created a bit of a fire hazard and we’ve had to put a note on it saying not to leave unattended and make sure it’s completely off once done using it. Like it’s cute, but my $70 air fryer oven from Amazon has more settings and is way more reliable than this and it looks just as cute. I’ve personally bought a couple of other items from Our Place, the cast iron pan and the cast iron dutch oven, and the finish on them wore off within the first month. I’ve grew up with cast iron pans, I even have one that my bought decades ago that is in excellent shape so I know damn well how to take care of them and how to heat them up and whatever. I also have a coated cast iron dutch oven I bought from HomeGoods about 8 years ago that is still in excellent shape. The only reason I bought the Our Place ones were because they looked cute and they were cast iron so I figured they would be better quality than the crappy pans they sell so I justified the price. Well, I was wrong. They’re absolute crap. Nothing that they sell is good quality or unique in any way (well maybe the colors) and everything is way, way overpriced. The only thing this company has going for them is the massive social media marketing at the hands of these “influencers”. It’s literally just hype. Also, be mindful of the reviews on their site. If you pay close attention and rummage through all the reviews you’ll notice they’re manipulating the reviews.
