Let me think... I was today years old feeling like my praise/worship wasn't worthy because I am "too quiet" I have a real good feeling in my soul, but I don't dance, I don't shout, and I don't perform... I'm processing. Not overthinking, simply processing. When preachers say something like, y'all too quiet, or you better dance to show God... I would feel like God didn't "see" me or "hear" because I was STILL. From now on, I will let MY temperament be what it is. I'm not saying I NEVER shout or dance, but it always feels awkward/forced when I do it when I want to be processing what was spoken.

PD, thank you for being faithful to preach the word God gave you to help the people. I've been on a journey to be my best self and grow into my destiny. I've been following other ministers whose ministry focuses on living your dreams and becoming who you were created to be, and while I acknowledged that the practices they were sharing would help me be successful, I've felt so pressured to do those things the way they do even though I knew in myself it wasn't how I was created to be. I felt like, if I couldn't do it their way, then maybe, I would never be successful. I was so touched by this sermon. It affirmed that I can live into my uniqueness instead of denying it and still reach the destiny God created for me. I'm looking forward to the continuation of this series and more this year.
