Omg I can finally comment on your vid.😭 But now I finally get the chance to comment! At 1 am where I live. 🤣 Also you pick some good clips because the Sleeping Beauty one is an absolute mood when it comes to cancelling a figure and having regrets. 🤣 And I'm very glad that FavorGK was very generous with giving your deposit with the early bird price! 🥳 This figure is absolutely grand and the extra goodies are so nice as well! The composition and overall design is fantastic. I'm going to add her to my wishllst. I remember seeing her go up for preorder back then, but I was quite intimidated by the price. 🤣 Also when you pulled that towel off of her I almost had a mini heart attack with the tassel pieces jiggling since I was worried they would break off when you removed the towel that fast. I'm glad that they didn't break! Dang though with some of the details and shading. I feel like for the price you paid you should get some more shading and details. Like on the obi it's just one flat color which is a shame. The paint defects and transfers as well was such a shame to see. I hope you can get the red paint on her hair removed or covered up a bit. I'm not sure And how could this figure not come with metal pegs!? Like just the magnitude of this figure warrants metal rods for long term support. I'm not sure, but is her staff also a source of support? And man I cannot imagine the pain of having to put her staff in. 😭 I'm glad that if there is paint transfer in that are it is not noticeable or hidden. And man it sucks that the weapon doesn't go into her hand, but at least facing her forward relieves that issue. And with the tail fin they definitely should have used a metal rod or heck maybe just a plastic support under her tail. It's definitely the weight of the tail and the use of a plastic peg. The things I love about the figure that you mentioned are the different paint finishes like the metallic paint for her robe and tail. It looks so shimmery and gorgeous! Also the translucent materials for her fins and the waves look very nice overall. The sculpt work on everything is fantastic as well. And her face is fantastic with the addition of inset eyes and at least I can see that now compared to the promo image that she dose have a nice white highlight to give her some life. Wouldn't want a dead fish eyed look. 🤣 The gradient on different areas like her fins and leg is very clean as well as the fish decals and the silver scales on her legs. And the composition is overall gorgeous. ALSO PLEASE NETEASE COME BACK FROM FIGURE LIMBO. 😭 😭 😭 I had 3 figures from them that got cancelled and Tamamo was one of them. Give me my long hair fox boy please. 😭 I also had the Susabi and Shokurei figures cancelled. And I really hope that when they do bring them back they keep the price the same. Like these are under $200 figures with bonus items which is such a steal. When they go back up I am definitely going to preorder them again. Thank you for making another informative and entertaining video! I'm glad that you picking up this gorgeous figure even with her flaws. Going through each section of the figure definitely helps anyone interested in the figure a great idea of what they will get into. I hope and pray that this figure holds up in the long run for you! Absolutely a stunning and dynamic piece! Knowing the story behind the figure, it makes a lot of sense that you were putting off opening her, I think I'd absolutely be as hesitant. I love the water, the tail, pearl, and that satiny robe. Her face and eyes really are very pretty! I cannot believe there are no metal rods or pegs... I really, really hope for the best there. I enjoyed the music in the b-roll :) I had cancelled my Sanzo nendroid and while I haven't reordered him yet, I keep going back and forth if I want to pick him up. But that was exactly my thought - I already have my grail in the Kotobukiya scale (which I also am hoping gets rereleased for everyone) so do I really need a nendo version? And if he can't scowl at his friends then is he really Sanzo? If they release the group.... I might be in trouble. I will think 'don't lean and don't snap' into the universe for you for Senhime. Oh yes I've definitely done a reorder and it was similar to you, the moment I cancelled I grieved and was super depressed, sometimes I think that's a sign! I've also had to cancel figures due to moneys and bought them later on. Senhime looks AMAZING!! I do get there were some paint mishaps but she is such a unique figure I can't help but be in awe of her!

Ecstatic to see this video! My Senhime is still in the box. I haven't unboxed her yet due to, where-the-heck-am-going-to-put-her, and paralyzing-fear-of-breaking-her issues. I may have to take a tranquilizer before I attempt the unboxing. I can see that any trauma I suffer will be well worth the effort. She's gorgeous! Like you, I was not thrilled when the final product was unveiled, but I kept my preorder because the insta-love I had for her was just so intense I Couldn't Let Go. I'm glad you showcased the flaws and I definitely don't like the plastic pegs, especially on the tail fin. I broke a Miku twin tail with a plastic peg off a prize figure and my vision went black (excuse the exaggeration, lol) but I was not thrilled. I will be wailing like a banshee if I break that tail off. In case I need advice, how did you reattach? Because I'm an Onmyoji figure slut, I also purchased Animester's Suzuka Gozen and preordered the new Shiranui (she will be my 4th Shiranui if you count the nendoroid). Suzuka is also still in her box, lol, but, I have a glow in my middle just knowing I have her. And yes! I was so disappointed when the Tamamo no Mai Fox figure was cancelled. I really wanted him and also the Shokurei Konshinhonmi (the red-haired fellow leaping above the bowl of ramen or whatever that delightful concoction is). I preordered Taishakuten from Australia as you did and contacted them back in March. They said that the figure had not been cancelled and that refunds would be issued if it does ultimately end up being cancelled. No refund so far, so fingers crossed he will make an appearance sometime soon. Figures I preordered, cancelled then ended up buying? None. My fatal flaw is buying then not loving the figure and having to turn around and sell it. I have done this seventeen times in approximately the last two years. I also stupidly passed up the first of the A-Z figures when I had the chance to buy her at retail, then decided I loved the whole concept of this line of figures and had to have her. Paid over five hundred dollars for her. Talk about ouch! Figure collecting is more dangerous than anyone could possibly imagine! Seriously though, thank you for the video. Loved it!

Geez, I suck, So sorry for the late response back! On the night that I uploaded, I actually read your comment before bed, which left such a big smile on my face so thank you! Then I got busy with work, but I finally have time to respond now! I am SO GREATFUL that you enjoyed this video, as well as finding some of it helpful! Now I really regret not having video footage of me assembling her , i’m sorry for that! Usually, I’ll record me assembling figures, at least 2 times and pick the best take… But this time, I was too scared to disassemble, and then reassemble 😭🙏 that, and my back kept covering the footage… I was getting so annoyed lol It’s unfortunate that you also feel stressed about unboxing her, but it’s at least reassuring to know that I wasn’t the only one feeling that way! I believe in you, you got this! Whenever you feel up to busting her out of her plastic prison, just make sure you got the day free so you don’t feel rushed… Lay out some space with a towel and just chill with maybe some tea or your chill axing beverage of choice ? As for my reattachment of the tail fin… I would not… Do what I did? Since the peg snapped in half, I just filed it down with the nail file… And since the plastic is so soft and malleable on her tail… I kind of just squished it back in again… It’s definitely not a permanent fix, at some point, I’ll probably have to super glue, which I’m trying to avoid at all costs! If I could go back in time, before trying to force the tail peg in, I should’ve just gotten some soft grit sandpaper to file it down before hand and/or try to widen the hole at the end of her mermaid tail. Personally, I think her tail fin was the hardest. It might’ve taken the longest… So hopefully through my mistakes/errors, you’ll have an easier time! If you need more help with assembly or anything else, please don’t hesitate to ask. I’ll try to help out the best way that I can! 👍💖 OOOMMMGGGG I am so jealous, one of my biggest regrets was not picking up Suzuka when she just released at her original price! But… I could totally see myself paying the aftermarket price for her down the line 👀💸 And my friend… I’m gonna need some photos whenever you complete that amazing set with SHIRANUIII AAAAAH! It’s hard for me to even conceptualize how epic that shelf is going to be! Getting this resin was an emotional journey for sure, glad it paid off! She's a stunner for sure and that staff is definitely a useful weapon but hopefully you never need to actually use it lolol. Love how her eyes follow you around! A shame the tail snapped off like that, top 10 saddest anime moments. Now I must confess that I have sinned and officially pre-ordered my first scale figure, my holy grail of grails, Kusuriuri from Mononoke since he's getting a re-release thanks to the new animated movie that's coming out! I'm treading dangerously into this territory, you've warned me and told me to stay strong but I have succumbed to my husbando desires, there's no going back as the temptation was too strong, xD. Now fingers crossed I actually get my hands on him since you never know with pre-orders lol. Conceptually, AniMester knocks it out of the park for these Onmyoji figures….. but engineering them to fit properly?… they kind of fall off the mark 🙄 And I wish I showed it off properly, but alas… The fin peg was actually very very long… That it snapped in half 😱 I had to pull out the rest of the peg from the mermaid tail… But since the plastic is so soft I just squished the thin tail back in… It’s not a permanent fix, so eventually I’ll need to superglue it 😭 considering all her assembly issues, I’m just happy that I didn’t overpay for her… Like, I’ve seen her on some websites for $800-$1000… If I paid that and I had to suffer through all this, I would be so angry. 🔥🔥🔥 AND THANK YOU, Yes, you get it! Why they made the tips transparent tfor her ear fins I will never understand… Like they’re so damn cute, I WANNA SEE THEM 😤 it’s not a dealbreaker… But I just have to wonder why? I’m still sending out those good vibes into the universe that we get Taishakuten, that gorgeous, ethereal man! And BTW, were you planning to pick up any other? Onmyoji figures? Hi! Yeah there is a bit of downgrade from the prototype but she is still so stunning, omnyoji have the most beautiful figures 😮. I almost ordered the Onmyoji: Taishakuten 1/4 - Face Of Solitude Ver. by NetEase Games But I nerved played the game and just watched their story cinematic which are incredible, but is that enough to drop 700$…then he got canceled so I saved my money 😂. Apparently there are rumors of a new release by another manufacturer 😅 I just canceled my preorder for the Hitsugaya toshiro by megahouse, I like him but 400$ for a character who always loses his fights 😅, I guess I’ll try to snag him on release if he bins.

Hello there! 👋👋👋 And I’m sorry, I’m a little confused, when you say “cone” do you mean? The tip of her staff/weapon? If so, then NO; her hand does not properly grasp it 😭 i’m really sorry to hear that you’re having a problem with your copy as well . Conceptually she’s gorgeous, but when it came to assembly… I feel like that’s where this beautiful piece falters Please let me know if you’re talking about the same thing! @wyldphinniweeb Yeah, the tip of the shell cone she's supposed to hold. I've seen in a Chinese KZbin video that her arm can be removed, and this way, she supposedly holds on to it better, but I never managed to remove her arm. I didn't have any issues with the tail though, from where I'm sitting, it just looks as if you haven't inserted it properly, but I might be wrong.

@@Melantha_Twinzzone So I just got up to see if her arm was removable… And with medium pressure it did not budge, and I’m way too scared to risk it. Lol. Also, double checked, no indication in the instruction manual… But then again, it was a shitty manual to begin with. 🤷 that and I can’t speak Mandarin but thank you for the heads up, I need to look into this video you’re talking about! And you know, I might have inserted the tail incorrectly… Honestly, I was getting desperate, however it would finally fit I just went with 😭 but in the end… It didn’t even matter, since it snapped off anyways 😮‍💨 I’m sorry I could not be more help! But at least I’m not alone with some of the struggles! 🙏💖
