FINALLY! A stylist who brushes the conditioner through while washing! I’ve had so many stylists rip my hair out when they are combing it to cut it. That’s because they won’t listen to me and brush the conditioner through my hair while it is wet after they wash it. That has been my secret to beautiful hair for many many years. I told a friend about it and now her hair is healthier too. I wish my hair was curly as yours, but I am starting the curly girl method because my hair is wavy when it is wet. And it’s flat out curly at the nape of my neck. I kept it permed for many years.anyway, I am in Sevierville Tennessee. I knew I recognized that accent! I wish you were closer. I would come and let you cut my hair.❤

I have finally found my people; the land of wavy likely to friz hair (you had me at cowlick)! I watched so many videos on curly hair that used products that just didn't work for my hair. I have already tried a couple tricks I've learned on this channel and am very happy with the results. I am a devout user of Deva curl one of the few products I've tried that didn't make my hair feel like plastic after it dried. But I am going to try the Gel Spray. Regular hair spray, while having great holding power, leaves my hair as natural feeling as a hair net. Thank you for all the tips and tricks!

Your videos have been so helpful ! My hair is very similar to yours and I started scrunching when diffusing... OMG, wow, what a difference it has made! For years I have seen all the "don't touch your hair when diffusing " video's and honestly had zero success with my waves/curls. Any advice for those of us who live in dry (super dry) next to no humidity climates? I live in Las Vegas for reference. I watched your how to sleep video, and I don't have a wedge, but I do pull my hair up and over the pillow like you mentioned, I've been doing that for a while now and it works amazing. I may try the wedge though to see if there is a difference.
@undeniably_lenora2 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment! I used a pillow before I discovered the wedge. And it works great, I also use the pillow provided when on on vacation. We love Vegas! I have a cousin that lives there. How can I get the products evenly applied to my hair, especially glazing it? Absolutely love your channel, you making me smile even when I'm in pain.
@undeniably_lenora2 ай бұрын
Oh wow! That’s a lot! Do the same thing with the products, but just hold your head upright. Make sure you start with glazing the products on your hair before you start working it through. Start with your ends and work into the mid shafts and then get more product and go for the roots and then the mid shaft. Do everything the same but just hold your head up. Ribbon your hair through your fingers, really worked that product through and you should be fabulous. You can also scrunch with your head right side up.

Your videos have helped this old woman who, for MANY years, had really short hair and then decided to grow it hair out. It looks ok the 1st day...I wouldn't call my hair curly but wavy...but the 2nd day is TERRIBLE! I tried sleeping like you suggested but because my hair is not as curly or long as yours it was a mess when I got up. Any suggestions for when it is really untamed and wild and I don't want to go thru the 1st day routine again? Right now I am just pulling the sides up and pinning it back. I tried the GF product last time and did like it better than what I previously used. Thanks so much from a fellow TNean!
@undeniably_lenora2 ай бұрын
The struggle is real! I feel like the GF products give me the best curl. Even when my hair was short I would just push it up and try not to sleep directly on it unless it was pushed up. And a year ago my hair was a lot shorter. This is probably the hardest thing, but make sure you’re not being too picky! I personally love to be super duper picky and having this channel and filming my hair has taught me that it looks great even when I don’t think it does. Thank you for watching!

@undeniably_lenoraАй бұрын
Hello! Thank you for commenting. I’m sorry you had to have radiation. The good and the bad news is that your curls are going to do what your curls are going to do. I find some products make my curls relax and some products make my curls tighter. You can do all the things to your perm that you can do with natural curls to help itlook its best. And start experimenting with products and see which ones you like. Most companies let you send things back if you don’t like them, and a lot of things you can buy from Amazon or Walgreens and return them if you don’t like them.

Do you have any idea why in the CG world, is protein such a big concern?
@undeniably_lenora2 ай бұрын
Hi! Protein is important to all of the hair world. Hair is comprised mostly of keratin which is a protein. Damaged hair is lacking protein and is dull and lifeless. So we add protein back to build up the keratin in the hair. However, too much protein can make your hair brittle! Hair that is damaged by color or heat cannot be restored, it can only be helped and it depends on how bad the damage is.

Hi! No, I don’t rinse out the Moroccan Oil mask. I leave that in and plop in my turbie twist.

I have the worst time with my hair at the nap of my neck it turns into a big frizz ball any suggestions

Are you putting enough product in at the nape of your neck and working it through? Are you diffusing and scrunching the hair at the nape of your neck just like you are the rest of your hair?
@theresamoser24322 ай бұрын
@@undeniably_lenora you know I do not section my hair I put the product on like you do but I wonder if more product on that area will help. I will try that. Yes I do defuse and it looks amazing then I wear my hoody and 3hrs later it is a rats nest and it pushes the rest of my hair out and I look like a triangle head. LOL

Whenever I have a spot that’s not cooperating, it’s usually because I haven’t used enough product there. This can still happen to me today! And the hoodie is not helping the nape of your neck, although they are very comfy!

Yeah I know LOL but I love them and live in Ohio it is a staple here. I will try the more product and I was thinking maybe have product in my purse to refresh a few times a day
