Glad you tried the gel! I ended up stopping this product because it made my hair super greasy and had to wash every second day.

I've used LUS off and on for a couple of years mainly because I love the scent. It definitely doesn't have great hold. Thank you so much for demonstrating more of your scrunching while drying technique! I've tried to do this a couple of times, but my hair is less curly than yours, and I lose definition easily. The absolute best definition, volume, and hold I've had has been from a combo of Sexy Hair Hard Up gel (blue) and Sebastian Mousse Forte. The gel is THICC! I always add a little water to make it less viscous. Just received the Volume Clips yesterday and can't wait to use them!!! So glad I found your channel!

Recent fan here; always like, always click on a link. I have a request: Can you do a video for those of us curlies with LOW porosity hair? You're always talking about how you can take a lot of product because your hair soaks it up. For low porosity folks, should be just use less? Should be gravitate to or away from certain products or ingredients? Surely yuo must have some low porosity clients -- what do you tell them? Thank you.

The aerogel is too much for me. A great less stiff version is Living Proof FLEXIBLE spray. Much softer but does the trick. Can you do a comparison?

Are you talking about the Living Proof Style Lab Flex Spray? I’d love to find something comparable. I’m curious if you’ve tried both why would you like for me to do a comparison?

I'm curious if you ever use any type of special hair treatment. My current stylist wants me to use a clarifying shampoo every 2 weeks followed by a protein mask, and a hard water treatment about every 4-6 weeks because I'm on well water. Do you think any of this is necessary? I'm really not sure if I notice much of difference with my hair after doing any of the treatments.
@undeniably_lenora15 күн бұрын
Thanks for asking! In my opinion, you will know if you need special treatments for your hair. And if you can’t tell a difference, they may not be the treatments for you. I do use a clarifying shampoo every now and then. Is your hair damaged?
@robinb180513 күн бұрын
@@undeniably_lenora I don't think so. Maybe a little dry sometimes. If it weren't for the weather and parental responsibilities, I'd try and make an appointment and let you have your way with my hair! Hopefully, in early spring I'll be able to make a road trip. 🤩

I bought the entire Lus line (shampoo/condish/stylers). I did not like them at all, even though I really really wanted to. The shampoo/condish was too heavy for my fine hair. The stylers (cream and gel) did not have enough hold for me no matter what different ratio of cream:gel I used. I ended up tossing the entire line of products. Live and learn 🤷🏻♀️
@undeniably_lenora19 күн бұрын
The more I try all the products, the more I realize we have to try all the products to see what will work for us. For me it is definitely a different kind of hold, so I think for people who want weightless products, this would be great.

I'm new here my natural curly hair does not like mouse. I started using Shea shampoo and conditioner and starting using cantu leave in conditioner and curl activater and gel. And I wrap my hair up in a t-shirt because for some reason my diffuser is making my hair frizzy
@undeniably_lenora19 күн бұрын
My hair does not like mousse either. It sounds like you’re finding things that work for you, don’t ever stop trying new things! I doubt that the diffuser is making your hair frizzy, it absolutely does the opposite of my hair frizzy. So it’s something else. You might need more styling products. Feel free to message me back or email me and we can discuss it further if you want.

I absolutely loved it when I first used it, and then it seemed to go downhill from there. I loved it so much I bought liters of it. The last time I used it, I didn’t like it at all. It may be something you can just use every now and then.
