That one shot of seeing Sherpa looking out of the back window area of the Mini while his daddy is coming towards him when they are about to leave the beach is picture perfect. It really shows just how well suited ergonomically Sherpa and the Mini are together. Also, he looks so much happier while riding in the Mini than when he's riding in the van because his visual range has increased dramatically.

Sherpa gets to wander another beach and he's loving every minute. It's so frustrating to forget and important item but I'm sure Sherpa didn't mind the extra road time. He's content to ride anywhere as long as the seat is comfortable and there's plenty of air blowing through his fur bringing interesting scents.

I love Sherpa! I know he is over the rainbow bridge now but I just adore him. Jamie someday you will need to get a sibling to help fill in the physical gap Sherpa has left. I know he will remain in your heart and all of ours forever. You have a lot of love to give to another dog when you are ready. Another will never replace Sherpa of course but it does help fill in the hole. I have found this to be my experience. Cheers

How he loves that huge, firm, flat, open beach to run on! All dogs seem to react the same to an empty beach. Most people do too. It's energising and invigorating. Kids and dogs love to dig and paddle. So do some grown up kids too 😉👍

I did that once, had the local vet call the vacation vet and between the two of them, they got us enough Thyroid medicine to last my girl the weekend. So sorry you couldn’t swing it and that you then had to make such a long drive back and forth. But nice you did and shows how Lord Sherpa comes first. 🥰🐕💕

oh for goodness sake don’t worry Jamie , believe it or not we did it we took our siamese on holiday and what did we do ! left their insulin in the fridge at home but we remembered half way there ! but it was still a very long trip for them and us ! so your not alone ! but cats don’t travel well , they were perfectly fine once we got there but then it was time for there injections too , as both mine were diabetic.
