I know most of you think this is sprue, but the truth is Xiao Zhan accidentally got hurt in making this drama. His director said it was so bad he had to go to the hospital but he went only after filming was done for the day. Xiao Zhan was actually hurt a few times while filming but would just keep on filming. He was very stoic and endured a lot to film The Untamed. On top of that he was awarded the worst actor award for Jade Empire. It's sad to me that this talented actor gets so much hate. He's such a good man and he's such a good actor. I really think it's men who feel inferior to Xiao Zhan, which they should , that are the haters. Let them hate because there are many more of us who love him. Our love for him will keep him strong and carry him through the tough times. I pray for his safety, health and happiness. The director know what's coming and asked for thicker padding because it's gonna hurt since they need to repeatedly hit him from different angles. I always thought they didn't really beat those actors, now I know better. I used to think acting was all fake, now I know they really do pours out a lot of efforts and it's a dangerous job too. Look at the wiring fighting scenes, 1 mistake and they could end up seriously hurt. So I don't think this is a coincidence, Lan Zhan's lip were more like bitten till it red but not really bleeding. So the story about director ask for it might be true.

I just remembered that my friend showed me some bts I've never seen before and it turned out that while filming a fighting scene with a lot of extras Xiao Zhan accidentally got hit with a prop by an extra :( I guess it wasn't too bad but Xiao Zhan's lip was split. There was a dialogue between Xiao Zhan and the director where they discussed that the extra was so sad and stressed about it that they couldn't sleep the night after that. The next day they apologized again but Xiao Zhan assured them that it was really nothing to worry about. He is so precious! And there was another bts where Xiao Zhan talked about his wish to eat some really spicy hotpot. I guess it happened the same day as the previous bts or the next day. And Xiao Zhan was told that it would be bad for his healing lip but he said that he would heal in no time and laughed it off. But he did accept the suggestion to get some healing balm for him :3
