I mean it's part of the Ness tool kit so it's just muscle memory. I think PK Fire can actually be a big detriment to a Ness player. Tons of ending lag, easily punishable. Ness mains are underrated

Gold LKirb I don't think so. I think alot of players get annoyed when getting hit with a PK Fire but there's a bunch of counter play for that. I think the best Ness mains incorporate an insane amount of movement, magnet mix ups and innovative combos and tech. It's not a brain dead character any more than Ganondorf is a noob killer. You gotta know your match ups

luis lopez “The challenge is simple, win 10 games without PK Fire” whether he accidentally used pk fire, missed/ landed, whatever, he still used the move during his stretch automatically disqualifying the challenge. You can’t just say “oops” and SD to cover up the mistake. In the Olympics if you do something against the rules of the sport they disqualify you, they don’t just let the disqualifying act go and add on a small penalty for doing the act.

I did this for months on purpose in game because I got sick of saying people saying Ness spams PK fire. I didn’t want to give people excuses like its easier for me to get confirms if they’re trapped in a pillar of flames. It did make it harder, but it also improved every other aspect and got me messing around with magnet way more. Edit: I definitely didn’t get ten wins in a row, and my ratio dipped for a while as I adjusted that’s for sure. I got way better because of it tho. Edit 2: another interesting video idea - trying to beat the 2nd - 10th best Ness players without using it.
