Forrest Galante gets hooked up to a true river monster, a prehistoric dinosaur, known as the White Sturgeon in British Columbia, Canada. Fishing stories like these only come around once in a generation. This massive fish was once nearly an extinct animal, but thanks to conservation work from individuals like Yves, they have rebounded to healthy numbers.

Bull Shark - in parts of Florida, they eat them up in a neighborhood BBQ. Now, I wouldn't eat any fish meat taken from these polluted oceans, but I would definitely catch a big ol' Bull shark so it fed lots of people.

He just gives you the information in a fun and exciting way. Such a cool guy. Bet he's great to hang out with too, just to chat and have a drink, talking about his adventures. 😊

When they get so big their heads almost turn into helmets. Almost has a horse shoe crab look to it. I live in Oregon. Sturgeon are amazing. I've seen some friends catch them before. Salmon, lampray, and sturgeon are such great assets to our ecosystem. As well as beavers. Which we definitely need to introduce more of.

Cool to see you in Canada and doing conservation on these amazing fish! Thanks for mentioning sportsmen in conservation, we really are the ones keeping these animals around for the next generation to experience. A few years ago I went on a sturgeon fishing trip on the Fraser, it was an awesome time and I caught an 8 footer that took 15 mins to reel in!

Animals have always liked me (my mom had many pictures) and like many other 90s kids grew up watching Steve Irwin and getting ZooBooks in the mail every month. This video and adventure ranked in my top 3 wildlife moments on camera.. great stuff!!

And being able to see n touch those BIG fish is just mind blowing. My biggest is 11 feet 2 inches and I can not begin to tell you the power those fish have. I did mine from shore so they got lucky they had the boat😂🤟🏻
