As someone who lives in Alaska I didn’t know how exclusive these were. I live in Wasilla and my husband and I catch them all the time. We just took them for granted. Pretty much, “Oh, it’s just another Parachisu.” After seeing your video and finding out its exclusive we’ve been a little more excited about catching them. I traveled to Greenland for work in March 2023 and caught a bunch of Pachirisu in the wild. As a fairly new player (started in 2022), I was so-so proud to finally have something the long-time serious players in my area didn’t already have and that I could use for trades. But that joy didn’t last too long… 🥲

When my friends and I went on a cruise to Alaska I thought I’d be able to bring some home to trade with others… nope! I caught one, and I had to walk fast to go find it. Was a 3* though and happy to get it in the Pokédex! Happy you got it and looks like you had a wonderful time!

I caught this one last September while on a cruise to Alaska! It was a great find. Only managed to find one though. One of our stops was Juneau so it's really cool/odd to see you visiting there outside of tourist season. It was PACKED when we visited. We didn't get to visit the crab shack because the line was already wrapped around the building when we got off the boat. Glad you enjoyed the trip!

I ended up getting my Pachirisu from a Canadian player I met during an Pokemon Go event in Germany (forgot which one). They had gone on a road trip up north specifically for that Pachirisu and were so nice to trade one with me :D

yo this video is EPIC!!! well worth the hour to watch it. I watch all your vids for my pogo info along with gilly, trainer tips, brandon, etc and to some extent they all travel to play Pokemon GO but this video just hit different. Maybe its just because Alaska is so beautiful, as a kid and then later on as an adult I always heard Bob Ross talk about his time in Alaska while painting as if it was the best time of his entire life and as Ive gotten older and seen more I can see why.
