As a non-fishing, historical aside, the Cocos Islands are the site of the Royal Australian Navy’s first ever victory in 1914, when HMAS Sydney defeated SMS Emden. Emden’s wreck is still visible on the reef at North Keeling Island after her captain ran her aground at the end of the engagement. Love your channel!! : )

Share this channel ppl. it is unbelievable he only got 82.3K Subs. the content Matt brings worth a Subs count at least 10 fold, also make sure we liking it, and not only viewing getting amazed and forgetting to like.

Awesome video. I don’t mean to offend, and yes I am quite jealous as many people would, how does Matt afford two killer boats, the best fishing gear, travel on epic adventures, and have the time to do all this fishing, all with a young family. Just what to know what I have to do to work towards this sort of kick arse lifestyle.
@PelagicPursuit89 Жыл бұрын
it would actually be an amazing video but basically chase a dream career that didn't exist at the time whilst trying to convince sponsors to trust in you after they've been burned many times. work your ass off, gain there trust and earn enough money to keep your head about water. then work even harder again to gain a KZbin following to earn a little more money until it all just starts to come together. Most important part of it all, have a partner who is willing to have nothing and still be happy to support what you're doing and having nothing but faith and confidence in your dreams. I'd never be in this position with out Jess.

Maté Napoleon fish are everywhere on the reef right at your from door. Try Walden Reef on the flats on the first of the making tide. Seen dozens of them there, like marine cattle grazing. Many over 100 kg

hey mate. definitly not a Napoleon wrasse

So is it more about how difficult it is to get to the place these fish live, or the size / fight of them? Cos it looked like you just were casting into schools of them and fighting them in.. maybe just a box thats hard to tick cos of where they live?? 🤔

Never seen a video with one being landed where you can see the fly in its mouth. They floss em in the seychelles. And this hookup + the way the rod moves is a little suspicious
