Holy hell that's a huge one. First time seeing a Rainbow trout that big. The biggest one I caught was 16 inches back in 1994 and I still remember it. Well done lad.

Thank you so much! 16in is a massive sized trout. These are exbrood stock they are used for breeding before they started stocking them I never knew trout could even grow that big!

Wow dude thats a thumping reddi out of karkarook, I'll definitely try n target them too on my next trip out, any idea what they could take bait wise out of there ? Worms ?
@SinghFishing19 сағат бұрын
Thank you so much! I was surprised there were Redfin that big in there. Imma be honest the lake used to be infested with Redfin. In my old videos 4-5 years back I was pulling em out every cast but ever since the release of native fish the Redfin population has dropped significantly. Which is sad but that means there’s big ones in there. I recommend buying a cheap $5 butterfly net from Kmart and using that to catch flathead gudgeon. It’s a native baitfish that lives in the rocks close to the bank. Next time you go flip a few rocks and catch the gudgeon I used to use em for the Redfin. Worms is a good bait aswell.

They stock it once a year around august or September. I find that light line works best for me

@@SinghFishingis it worth fishing at Rowville lakes rn or na?
@SinghFishing7 ай бұрын
@@ben_fishing_au to be honest a lot of these family fishing lakes are dead after a month of stocking. At the moment it would be hard to catch anything there. It’ll be worth it at term 2 holidays though.
