ribbonfish were a staple for me as a kid cause it was my pop's favorite. He isn't really a big fan of seafood in general but said he liked ribbonfish because it was the only thing available in his village as a kid so he got a taste for them. To be completely honest I don't really now what the fish itself tastes like because he traditional recipe is so heavily seasoned.

As far as unique food in general, beef tongue is ridiculously underrated! However, you have to either do some research on how to prepare it yourself, find a friend that’s made it before or get it at a good Mexican restaurant.

Sabiki rig tip with shrimp is exactly how I do it if catching bait fish I leave it down after the first gets on and it makes the sabiki move crazy and cause a feesing frenzy. As far as music on the peir I do it but keep it low so I am not bothering others cause they may not like my music. Strangest fish I have caught was a cow fish didn't know what it was or if you could eat it so I tossed it back

i'm not a fan of having multiple hooks on a line, it makes it more difficult to deal with, especially if you somehow hook two at the same time. more things can go wrong and the fish might see the extra hardware and decide not to bite
@gloriousleader3409 Жыл бұрын
EEP.. sounds like those ribbon fish are not good for a hemophiliac like me to get bit by.. I've been on vacation through Alabama and Georgia and caught me my first buffalo fish on the Coosa river in Ohatchee! Weirdest thing I cooked was a fresh water eel out of the Ocmulgee river in Georgia. Did it on a dare and tasted just like catfish!
