The thing about Holi colours is that no one here in India expects one to be completely clean after one shower. Don't sweat it. It takes maybe 2-4 showers to be completely clean, and until then people just know that you've been enjoying Holi. Your face with residual colours becomes like a badge of honour. The colours stay on for long, but they're not known to be particularly allergic, otherwise you'd hear more ado about it. Every year we move onto more organic colours without compromising on the brightness. The science is progressing, lol.

17:37 Correction: Lord Krishna who was an avatar of God Vishnu married Rukmini who was an avatar of Goddess Lakshmi. But, in all the temples you will find Krishna's idols with Radha b'coz she was his human love (which was not supposed to happen) while Rukmini was his divine love. (They were meant to be together due to them being incarnation of respective gods)

You can always refuse to take pictures with men. It's not a problem to say no. Just be blunt with them with a serious face. The remnants of the colour will take around 2-3 days (maybe even a weeks time) to fade off. So it's normal to roam around in India after Holi carrying the remnants on your face & arms. Nothing to worry about.
